Champion points?

Hi

Not long turned vet 1 and got a CP but its for worrier? im a sorc, so can i ask why would it give me a point for the wrong thing?

It rotates through all 3 trees. Look through the tree, there is usually something that you will find useful.

Did you even read what the Warrior gives you? Bastion is great for strengthening your shields, and rank 10 in the Lady unlocks Spell Absorption - receive a bunch of magicka when taking elemental damage. You'd be silly to not want to put points in this tree as a sorc.

Which CP did you get? Here's a few options good for a sorc
Red- Put it into bastion to increase your shield
Green-Reduce spell cost is great or magicka regen
Blue- Put it into elemental expert to increase you fire, lightning, and ice damage
So you'll always find something to put your CPs into

Yeah i used it on my shield already.

I ended up with a worrier point so was like WTF since i'm sorc which did not seem right.

Just an FYI: You get the points in a set order -- the next point will be for the thief tree, then the mage tree, then back to the warrior tree, then thief, then mage, and so on...

I think you have misunderstood something here. Champion point names are called after the mythical astrological creatures of TES lore. Just because it is called Warrior it does not mean it is not useful to you just because you have chosen the sorcerer class.

I think you have misunderstood something here. Champion point names are called after the mythical astrological creatures of TES lore. Just because it is called Warrior it does not mean it is not useful to you just because you have chosen the sorcerer class.

Not misunderstood just first time in vet and was thinking it when by what your character was but just seems its all mixed.

Yeah it is mixed, you get them all three. They make a difference once you get 10 of each kind and spend them in the same constallation, you get some very nice passives

Another great thing about champion points is that they apply to other characters too.

So if you get to VR16 and have 30 cp's for warrior, sorcerer, and thief when you create a new character you can spend those points using that new character. You do not have to spend them on the same things you spent them on with your first character either.
