Hey ZOS, can you get rid of all the NPCs so we can just fight each other?
There's over 20 different areas in this game (THAT ARE HUGE) that you can kill mobs and do PVE.
There are currently ZERO places to PVP without getting zerged or having to fight NPCs.
Every fight I've had in IC has been broken up or ruined by the countless NPCs in the way.
I'm sorry, but you guys really dropped the ball on this one. It's a damn shame.
I'll be cancelling my sub at the end of the month.
What's your character build like? Maybe someone can offer some tips to beef up the build to give you a more enjoyable experience.
Have you checked out the recruiting section? Find a few friends to watch each others backs.

I do enjoy Cyrodiil as well, but it's a different feeling. There's a real joy to be had when an enemy zerg tries to kill you and you pop a potion and lead them right into a boss as you tag a bunch of them and escape and watch them all lay flat on the ground. HAHAHAAA... so as you see, there are good sides to zergs and bad sides. ZOS has really hit a home run with this content... heck a grand slam.
Just how can ZOS stop people from forming zergs?
might have been said before. but i think a great idea is to have 5 on 5 or 10 on 10. i know the lfg tool doesnt work all that well, but what if they created something like a waiting room. and players of the same level could sign up, then go into a area/instance just for them for , capture the flag , or claim castles or towers, or kill some king/queen/boss. maybe it could be champion point scaled. like how many you have. if you have 100 your with this group who also have 100. then it would have to rely on skills since you have all the same amount of CP?
that would be small scale. maybe there would be no lag in there as well since its a small condensed situation.
apparently big situations are too big too handle. not trying to make this ANOTHER game, but i always found that type of play fun. more group/ team oriented. i think guild wars 1 had something called areans or randoms. 4 on 4. it was pretty fun.
just my thoughts .

That's not PvP. Having one team stand on one side and the other team on the other, waiting for the bell to ring and start fighting, is not PvP.

I agree with you there, I could kill 20 enemy alliance players with snipe and ambush alone.
What I do is, as soon as I enter the IC city not sewer I wait for the enemy player to come and do his pve thing(or surround by mobs) when they are at there low health then from the top( where I am ) I continously spam snipe (which is now good for me, only in IC).

This was a sensationalist post, so I am not surprised at some of the reactions. I apologise for not just being direct from the beginning.
With that said!
This is not PVP. It is a real shame that there are so many distractions and deterrents from PVP in IC.
My experience for the most part has been people grinding the mobs/elites for stones, and then me and my buddies having to try and pick a fight with them. They are obviously PVEing, so they should be just able to do that.
If the fight moves around the map more 5 feet we all end up pulling agro on several nearby NPCs which for me and my friends, takes a lot of the fun out of the fight. If I win, I don't feel like its as satisfying knowing that some NPC did some of the work, if I lose, well I would love to have known if I could have taken the enemy(s) in an actual legitimate fight.
I think it would be great to be able to PVP in an environment where we can just beat the hell out of each other and not have to worry about other *** getting in the way.
Small scale battlegrounds etc. Add a couple of different arena style games.
5 (possibly up to 10) player max per faction in each game.
If you want to play, you enter a lobby and it groups you with an instanced game (Just like most PVP games)
You could easily break up parts of IC into small scale battle fields which would be awesome. (The map itself is great. It's just the execution of the world that is lacking.)
Timed sessions, give people an objective (kills/score or map control etc.)
It wouldn't take a lot of work, and it would actually give us PVPers a legitimate place to small scale without all this nonsense.
Can anybody tell me what the purpose of being in IC is? I mean, aside from having fun if you enjoy it?
It just seems like a stone grind, loot grab hamster wheel to me?
Correct me if I'm wrong, perhaps I'm just doing it wrong, but that's all I see it as, and that's all people seem to be doing in there; Grinding for gear/xp upgrades.
I will say Cyrodiil has been awesome since IC came out. There's been plenty of smaller fights, and with less people bogging the server, its been pretty smooth.
I'm happy staying in Cyrodiil only. It's good for me. I just wanted to make a few comments about the IC, seeing as I did pay for it and was disappointed in how badly they messed it up.

OH man, that makes it so awesome!
It's more like tactical street combat, sneaking around, picking the right place to fight or flee.
There are zergs, sure. I dont even understand why it worth it. They truely get absolutely no tel var stones at all. But luckily they can be avoided.
I treat zergs with the same caution like those roaming bosses.
so it's what craglorn used to be with pvp inside an apartment and really pissed off tenantsSourishWhale wrote: »I think many of you missed the point.

I wish this was the op because it's dead on... IC is essentially a $25 grind spot where you get xp and stones.
Cross faction pve zones is nothing new in MMOs. Tbh, I was surprised that eso didn't let you see players from the other faction in pve zones. But that's all this DLC is, it's a cross faction PVE area. Way too many high health, hard hitting mobs that ruin every single fight
