@Cinnamon_Spider
I have thought of using 5p Magnus but I rather have 100% chance of regen with seducer then a small chance of negating a spell cost. Just the way I see it.
With the divines/infused, in 1.6 I only ran with 36k mag, this is something I am very used to managing. I could go infused but I just don't need it for the way I play and what I am use too.
If I could get more arc Mage pieces with divines that extra 14% will even boosts DPS higher which is
I don't plan on running any of the prismatic enchants even if I had infused..
This is just one build I had in mnd, I am already workin on another build that will use some of the new vr16 sets that May top this one in every way. Just that grind tho

3 magnus and 2 seducer are 2 mag reg and 1 max mag set boni, why u dont go with 5 seducer, you would get 2 mag reg 1 max mag AND additionaly 8% cost reduce
maybe just a typo?
What happens when you run into someone with shieldbreaker and a weighted bow spamming light attacks? An additional heal is a must now IMO.
Cinnamon_Spider wrote: »Seducer with a guaranteed reduction was the way to go previously, but that cost being negated is so much more powerful for a sorc. I can still bolt all around Belkarth while doing writs and rarely go OOM.
You really are losing stats by going divines instead of infused and prismatic on two pieces is really too good to not use. Even sorcs need a bit of health this patch and you get bonus stamina.
Cinnamon_Spider wrote: »Why not use infused for the large pieces? The bonus from the enchants would be better then the small amount you're getting from divines on those pieces, especially when you get some prismatic enchants on your chest and pants.
I haven't geared up my sorcs yet, but I've been trying some things out in Vet 14 gear.
On my EP, I've been trying out Magnus x5, Arch Mage x4, 2 Cyro light rings, and then a monster helm. Resto and dual wield swords. Ideally, I would have three Willpower instead of Arch Mage neck and then just replace the Arch Mage pieces with something else (Eyes of Mara or Phoenix maybe). Mundus stone I'm using is Apprentice. Blue Vet 15 Health/Magic food also.
My stats are about the same as yours, but with the 5 piece magnus there the possibility of negating the cost of a 4th or 5th bolt, which is huge. The monster helm could be replaced with a set piece to use resto/destro instead.
On my AD, I'm trying out a high regen build that seems to be really good as well.

Depending on the Mundus stone you use, you would actually get more from Divines pieces than you would with Infused.
Act is this the set up you used for our duel? Also that spell damage... is that buffed or unbuffed?

That spell Damage is Buffed, and Yes, This is the same build i used for our duel aswell as being a Dueling/Small Group Build.
I'm going to be a bit critical Rage so don't take it personal as this advice is 100% theorycrafter accurate and will make an already great player and build better.
Take your CPs out of the light armor passive as that is nearly useless and doesn't apply to shields. Hardy, Elemental Expert & Thick Skinned all apply to your shields as well as your health itself and have far greater returns on their value.
Likewise the points into Elfborn beyond the first 3 or 4 points are relatively useless compared to thaumaturge or elemental mastery especially with a build that isn't focused on crit. You'll actually increase your damage much more by splitting your damage between those (including your crits themselves). I'd recommend 75 into Thaumaturge for your build at least so you can get the exploiter passive, and put the rest Elemental Mastery other than 3 or 4 points into Elfborn.
Secondly Divines on large pieces. With Apprentice Mundus each piece of Divines is giving you 12.5 extra base Spell Damage. Infused with a Prismatic enchant on a large piece will give you 249 extra stats which are increased by any other multipliers you have. With a Magicka enchant it will give you 173.5 Magicka which will increase your damage more than the divines as well as your magicka pool and shield strength. Divines on small pieces is great.
On the set choices, you have too many. Get Rid of that Archmage set, it' no longer that good even perfectly traited at V16. I'm reasonably certain you can only get a Blue V16 neck and that is going to lower the entire set bonuses for the rest of the V16 pieces and it doesn't matter because you need Willpower Rings and Neck. Willpower staves are just horrible because they don't come in Nirnhoned. Losing that bonus spell resistance and penetration hurts you. You need to be using a crafted Nirnhoned set to maximize your damage. Either pick Magnus or Seducer, not both. I'm a fan of magnus out of those two options.
I have a few different set combos in mind for my sorc but I think choosing which sets and set combos you use are half the fun, but there are times when the sets you choose have direct alternatives that are better in every metric from a stat perspective.
Hope this helps.
Useless Sorcerer is useless. God damned Plebeian.

Ya bout that Light armor passive, I already changed that, I already realized it was not doing me any good, Aswell as some of the other points you mentioned, I had already fixed them too.
I never knew the math behind the Divines and Apprentice, TY for that info.
I will Proly get rid of Arch mage at some point but this is what I have been workin with and been Really Successful so far.
I do agree with the Willpower staff and swapin to one with Nirn. I have already thought about that when I first started this build.
Also, Yup Feelings hurt just for you thinking i would take this personally xD

Just a learned precaution, many people in the past have flipped out if I try to offer suggestions or advice so I try to appear as non-critical as possible. It's hard for an absolutist like me to moderate my tone properly in text.
I've found that the best players can be successful in about any old gear which is why you've been successful. Min/maxing your gear and distribution further will just make you more OP. I'm really starting to look forward to my own return to my sorc, so perhaps we'll have a little rampage through the sewers someday soon ( ;
Why Dawnbreaker/Atro?
I like to play with negate/Shooting star
negate to stun and dispell, dk reflecting scale for example, yes they will recast but it give you some seconds stun - break free - recast
you have 7 LA pieces right?
It is time for some Sorcs R Us!

Panda, someone else spamming healing ward on you made it a 2v2 and now that my router has been fixed there is no way that would happen againCinnamon_Spider wrote: »It is time for some Sorcs R Us!

@Cinnamon_Spider Been there, done that, given I had a healing ward being spammed on me the entire fight but still, totally killed you both 1v2(Also don't say lag, I'll slap you if you say lag!)
