This game seriously needs text chat, I run a guild of 470 members and the majority of them don't use the guild voice chat channels. I do most of the communication with my guild via Xbox live message on an individual basis which is a pain in the ass.
You can only be in one voice chat channel at a time, so players already in a group or on a different guild chat channel can't interact with anybody else. Tabs for guilds via text chat would resolve this and allow you to see previous chat history, such as one person wanting to form a group for a dungeon e.t.c. As it stands now somebody would have to constantly repeat themselves asking the same thing, which is pretty annoying.
You also have the issues with kinnects picking up every damn thing going on in somebody's living room. My opinion voice chat - awesome for groups. Everything else needs text chat to work efficiently.

Why such a specific amount of time?
Fallout 4 release in that exact amount of time.
You're definitely not alone, most of the people I play with will be caught up in that game for some time, with little interest in ESO in it's current state. It could have been a great game, if they'd only given us better tools to communicate.
I play xbox on prime time hours and don't have a problem but if for some reason do have problems then I recommend joining a guild that that does group content and let the devs get to work making fixes after the patch

also there is "Want to join my group" quick chat.....but why not "looking for group" and "looking for guild" and "recruiting for guild"...
