Does anyone think this is a good idea?
Like have the option to steal a small amount of gold from a player...and then the enemy can either fight you and get a little extra out of it or steal it back?
Only thing is guards don't get triggered to fight...so if youre afk...at least you didn't lose much?
This theft system would be fun in PvP too...
Just an idea curious what other people think...

✭I think it is a great idea! you should be able to steal all their gold if your legerdemain skill is high enouf. Also be able to take their weapons and their clothes leaving them naked like in skyrim. That would rock!“Whatever.”

HungryHobo✭✭✭If they take your 100 gold, but get killed, they should have 500 gold payed to the player who killed them that comes from the thief's bank. The money they stole gets returned & distributed between the people they stole from most recently.
Although.. if they don't have any gold what-so-ever, it would be difficult to punish them0 -

It would have to be disabled in Cyrodil
It would have to be disabled in Banks.
It would have to be disabled when you talk to NPCs (i.e merchants, quest NPCs)
It would have to be disabled when you are crafting.
It would have to have a server limitation on how much gold can be stolen from one player per hour/login.
Guards should be enabled (your committing a crime and we should be able to call on them for help).
AFKers (by say, inactivity for more than 5min) should be immune or at the very least have reduced gain rate.
