When Slaughterfish attack

I was recently killed instantly by a single Slaughterfish attack of nearly 45K. I wouldn't mind so much but I wasn't actually in the water at the time, I was stood on a rock above the water. I can only imagine that the Slaughterfish leapt out of the water and swallowed me whole, although I didn't actually see the fish, so perhaps it just used it's 45K Ultimate 'Toe Nibble' feat or something.
Meanwhile I can actually, with no trouble whatsoever, catch these Slaughterfish and skin them without a fight.
What shall we call this, expected behaviour? I mean sure, ESO aint real life. I don't have to queue to talk to a bank vendor or anything. But... well... sheesh.

✭✭You have never truly played an MMO until you have been attacked by a ravenous fish, followed by it onto land, chased up a tree, and been killed there. I think murderous fish not knowing their place have become an expected trope of the genre.

I find it equally odd when I slay a Skeever, and I find one destruction staff and a helmet inside of it. Makes me wonder where it hid them o.O0
