Yeah, I find that irritating too, but I don't blame the CS rep for that. I'm about 90% sure that she's been instructed to use that type of phrasing, and is only telling me what she's allowed to tell me.nimander99 wrote: »I feel your pain @UrQuan this has been an ongoing frustration for me as well.
Can I just say that I really really dislike the trend of customer service responses I've been seeing, not just here but in many other games I play as well.
I mean, really? Go explore? To you or myself? I've been to every damn nook and cranny in this game as I'm sure you have to. They should have just said "Go to this spot @UrQuan because its not a above Top Secret, National Security matter as to where our Nix hounds are"...
Anyways, thats my ten.

Nevermind Silver or Gold. Turn those babies Platinum with levels starting at VR11 all the way to VR16. End of complaints about vet leveling!
That's one possible solution, but to my mind it's not ideal, as it could lead to high level players going and farming low level mobs - potentially ruining the game experience of low level players who are adventuring in that area. It's a real problem indeed.
Could ZOS make these items droppables even when mobs are outlevelled, like all medium crafting material ? It should resolve the problem without any hard work needed.

Then you don't understand the /lurk.
If this thread got a /lurk that would be a great thing, means the Creative Director is interested in the idea.

I'd love it if once you completed Cadwell's Silver and Gold you could choose to go to the Gold or Silver versions of your home alliance zones (it would solve this problem), but that's not possible.
Not possible right now, correct?
Sooooo why isn't this a thing? It should be made possible :-/
(It just seems such a SHAME to 'outlevel' such beautiful areas of the game. To render useless areas at endgame seems so shortsighted and a disservice to this IP that so many hold so dear)
It definitely won't happen. Never mind that this change is almost exactly the opposite of what the patch notes say, it's intended behavior that some people get screwed out of achievements based purely on what alliance they selected. If over a hundred different people writing hundreds of posts about what a bad idea this change was hasn't made any impression (and based on the complete radio silence on the issue from ZOS it clearly hasn't made any impression), and all the in-game /bug and /feedback reports haven't made any impression (and again, clearly they haven't), it's obvious ZOS has no intention of ever re-examining this intensely stupid change and admitting that they screwed up.This would be the perfect time for ZOS to admit they made a wrong decision and revert back to the initial trophy behaviour. I have my doubts that this will actually happen, but maybe it is worth it to remain hopeful.

The problem is that the public outcry against a change seems to have to be enormous and universal for them to even consider reverting it. And I think that there's probably a limited number of players that even know about the collectibles achievements, let alone actually care about them. Look at how many people posted in the other threads that obviously didn't even know what we were talking about.it's obvious ZOS has no intention of ever re-examining this intensely stupid change and admitting that they screwed up.
Maybe if everyone bombards the next ESO Live with questions and complaints about this they might be forced to pay attention. While this change negatively affects basically everyone who does care about trying to get these achievements, I think there's just too few people in the game that care about things like dyes and achievements to really blow up the forums the way we'd need to to actually force ZOS to take action.
But hey, vocal minorities have gotten them to listen before, so there's always a chance, right?

I doubt it. Collectibles have no use other than achievements and achievements have no use other than dyes and titles. So selling collectibles would really just be selling dyes. While I could easily see this happening, I doubt it's directly tied to this change. The dyes we're talking about aren't even the best ones available.jcasini222ub17_ESO wrote: »Is it bad that when I see the silence on this issue I get that terrible feeling in my stomach that crown pack 'collectibles' are in development? Nope, not on this forum. Have to take this topic to Redditt. Which is just pathetic... I'm tempted to head over to reddit and start some discussions there about it. I'm really not a reddit kind of guy though. Might be the only way to actually get ZOS to pay attention though.Ourorboros wrote: »Nope, not on this forum. Have to take this topic to Redditt.
