Tea bagging for all the wrong reasons

Just had an amusing experience in Cyrodil, bear in mind I'm a pve player I just go to Cyrodil for the high XP quests and rank 14 martial knowledge gear. So I'm questing quite happily and some guy attacks me, I kill him and carry on questing. I come back to hand in quest, same fellow and a friend jump me, I kill them both go to hand in another quest and another of thither faction jumps me, he also died for the intrusion. I continue questing. Bare in mind at no point did I lower myself to the tea bagging behaviour. So I come backto hand in 2 more quest and now there's if them, at this point they over power me, fair enough. But then the tea bagging began and was was just left thinking hmm i just beat pretty much all of you most of you twice yet you are gloating.... Wasn't bothered just found the mind set funny.

Actually, it's used as a form of communication. They were probably trying to tell you Good Game in moss code.

LOL with that said, I think that stuff is kind of funny. Not because it's being done, but some people get really angry over it -- so no I'm not saying I'm happy if someone gets angry, but it can possibly lead to more fights. It's a good way to have someone come looking for you... which is like hey "knock knock" AP Delivery!

But yeah, I get what you're saying. Still, it's the way of the world. While it was done in games before Halo, Halo revolutionized it as did COD4.

Hehe yeah I've heard some of my pvp guild mates get annoyed about it, tea bagging aside it was good fun, just wish I could have told them I was not only set up for pve but was still raising skills as I had changed from a stamina character to a magic one that day so was missing a lot of passives:)

Basically they where trying to make you angry and hoping you send them nasty

It's basically a form of trolling in-game trust me know what I'm talking about trolling is part of the pvper experience.

How do you know they were T-Bagging you? when you died change may have fallen out of your pocket and they were picking it up or someone may have lost a contact lense :p;)

This gamer does not support T-Baggin unless its in a cup! o:)

There's a "right" reason for tea bagging?

To be honest I don't get why people get upset with t-bagging, it just showcases how immature and childish they are and once you respawn they can't do it to you any more, so just hit respawn and bingo no more t-bagging, and carry on. It's not as f it stops you from playing or anything.

(note: I don't condone t-bagging, I just don't feel having it done to you in a game is worth worrying about, now in real life you have a big reason to complain .. unless you like that sort of thing .. :p)

Meanwhile, I /bow to people who did good in a fight, even if they lose in the end.

If I see an ally that teabags in opponent that was obviously outnumbered, good luck to him dealing with the next wave, 'cause he sure won't get any help from me.

I had a similar experience, im leveling my nb in cyrodiil and ic. I was around arrius at this time, I beat some v16s and one of them was a nb. I think i must have killed him 3 times, fair and square. Then eventually I was overpowered by him and his pocket healer that he brought this last time, it was a good fight tho, I almost killed the templar before they got me (templar was v2) then when I was killed, the v16 nb tbagged me:)

Luckily, 10 minutes later I caught them trying to take one of my resources, so I killed them both with a little help from npcs. I *spit* on the nightblade corpse.

Teabagging is a practice in PvP videogames that consists in humiliating/taunting your defeated opponent by playing the emote crouch/uncrouch/crouch/uncrouch repeatedly over the "corpse". It's meant to mimic r a p e - by-mouth (forcing your balls into your victim's mouth). Some people think it's "funny". It's widespread among immature teenagers without sexual experience but also among adult gamers who obviously spend more time playing with their computer and with themselves rather than enjoying IRL sexual relationships. Some even go as far as to do it with mobs in solo games where they don't despawn too quickly.
It's actually against the code of conduct and thus reportable as offensive.
In ESO, it looks as it is far more widespread on the US megaservers than on the EU megaservers.

Nope, just found it funny and was trying to get my head around what he was gloating about. Did like the mention earlier on the bowing to players after a good fight as I've also had a few of those but haven't h done much with the emotes so might add that to the quick bar.

Generally I only get t bagged if I kill someone a few times and then they finally get me. If someone just facerolls me they generally don't deem my face worthy of their genitalia.

Heh anyone remember that movie gamer? RL teabags lol

From personnal experience, everyone who tea bags without being teabagged by the target are 1- bad players and 2-unethical and vexacious moroans. Including ones in my own guild and alliances.

The other day me and my grp of about 8 were fighting reds in arena district and won a battle, which was a real cool fight. A random guy leaching our kills started tbagging the red corpses. I told him to *** off as we did all the work in the killing.

Hense started a serie of insults towards me.

My ex wife found me in Battlefield 4, and climbed up the front of my tank and T-bagged it [she divorced me by the way].

I watched as an enemy tank shell flew over towards me , and her dead body slid down the front of my tank.

Although I find t-bagging to be a childish and immature thing to do, I do have to admit (rather ashamedly) that I have t-bagged in games before, but only ever once (actually more than once but the other times were messing about with friends in duels but only once maliciously) and in response to someone t-bagging my corpse after cowardly killing me three on one, the next time we met it was one on one and I tore him a new one so i decided to t-bag in retaliation for his early transgression, I would never do it otherwise.

Hmm, I am immature and bad player I guess. Teabagging is a childish amusement I have amongst my friends - when someone dies in a group or raid we often try get a quick teabag on them before the rez is granted - fuzzy sac punishment for failure, also lightens the mood to stop a raid getting too serious :)
Can't say I have ever done it to strangers or in PvP though.

That's the difference though, you do it in fun with friends who are not insulted by it, you're not trying to anger them. T-bagging in PvP is done as a childish way to get you angry and make you respond, they think it's asserting their superiority over you where in fact they're showing you how much of an idiot they are instead.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of friendly banter and t-bagging among friends, it's when it becomes malicious is when it's not acceptable.

That's true, there's nothing wrong with *anything* (online or IRL) as long as it is consensual.

But if it is with strangers, you cannot assume that it is "funny". Because they're strangers and per definition did not give consent.

As to it being a benign and childish way of "taunting", I could agree to a certain extent, but I still see it as a problem, because "everybody" in the game can see it and it banalizes such acts and it shouldn't, especially when a significant proportion of players are very young. There are some tasteless s e x/r a p e/whatever jokes that are OK within a group of close friends but you would refrain to tell them in front of children. IMHO, same goes for teabagging.

If you wanna gently taunt your defeated opponent, use /waterbucket, /shovel or anything equivalent.
