Sewer camping....gg

So I can leave the safe zone to a second floor safe area but I have to do down into the sewers to get back to the safe area. Makes sense. Good bye TV stones, way to make a mechanic where players can lose hours of work by no fault of their own. I mean staying out and risking a multiplier is one thing, but making me have to go through an easily camped area to get back is ridiculous. It took all of one time of this happening for me to not want to go back into IC. I've lost tons of stones to poor choices and I'm fine with that. But losing them to poor design is unacceptable.

Or run through the zones and go through the doors to get back to your safe zone overworld.

i.e. DC is Elden Gardens. Get to the drain in that Zone, and you are 2 rooms from your safe house. Easy

You lose some, you gain some. Learn which sewer entrance goes back to your base. Otherwise, suicide to mobs, lose 10% TV, go back to main base safely.......or use teleport stones.

cant have all rewards and no risk....qq less get good. No offense, I dont want to see anything remotely fun go the way of the old content which is cake walk panzy mode.....so sick of that. I lost 9k telvar stones in ONE run before....you know what I did? Hunted that mofo down and got some of my TV stones back. Did I cry? Nope. I moved on.

Gets killed during loading screen boss of doom. Reply to problem? "Get good" I'll be sure to cherish this knowledge the next time i'm at a load door, or when cornered by a zerg.

Suicide in the district and release. In the district's savezone is a door on the ground which brings you back to the home base in the sewers.

I think it's ridiculous you get to keep 20% of your stones when you die. What, the people looting your carcass are that incompetent? And why can't they take your gold, trophies, armor, and weapons, too? So silly.

Can also travel to your guest campaign(pick one that's never full). It's safer than teleport stones or stuck, since almost instant once you accept, can be done in combat and from sneak.

Of course not the best option if your home campaign is full with a queue.

But overall I'd say dying to mobs is the easiest way to get back quickly. Because you can do that while stuck in combat and there's no "channelling" time.

This one was thinking of camping in the 'scenic underground'.

However this one found that the floor was too damp to light a campfire and the floor too hard to put in Santie's tent pegs. Santie does not appreciate a tent that is around, rather than far above, her ears.

Also large groups of unfriendly campers kept zerging through this ones sleeping area.

It was noisy and dark and infested with daedrats (delicious crunchy daedrats!).

Santie thinks there are far better places to camp in Tamriel if one likes sleeping outdoors with the bugs and the bitey things.

there are so many mechanics to help negate that. either you don't know about them ir didn't find them like what has been said charge the boss you will lose 10% and be at the starting area turn around and enter ur home alliance in the sewers or spend 10k alliance points and get a teleport stone. or be in a group like I play with 6-8 ppl and make your way back through the sewers if you feel like being risky to gain more stones on the journey

If the "hard core PVP'ers" didn't run around in Zergs 90% of the time, it wouldn't be an issue

It's true. If they dare raise the 10% level, then they sure better do an awful lot to make imperial city less ruled by invincible zergs. Right now bloodporting is the only way to safely bank stones.

I agree, I think most of us do this.
I also think the loss to NPCs needs to be increased to at least 20% as a result of this silly mechanic. But that's another topic.

I'm guilty of this as well. It seems to be the most fun when an opposing player is chasing me and I head straight for the sewer boss. I'm for sure going down ... but if the other player wants to continue they are likely going to meet the same fate.

Not noble at all ... not proud of it ... but it's an accepted mechanic within the game in it's current state.
