Better yet how do crafters get the mats for crafting V16 PvE gear?
All the new mats most certainly are walled behind PvP content and crafters cannot make the new gear without the mats... Simple as that ...
The mats are gated what do you not understand? They gated PvE materials to craft with behind a PvP zone.... I don't see how that concept eludes you .... Lol
PVEers didn't complain because PVE materials weren't LOCKED TO CYRODIL.
*snip*
Have the mats obtainable outside a small PVP zone were Zergs are or multiple NBs are just sitting around waiting to gank you.
OK, seriously, what is up with people in this thread constantly repeating this total lie and nobody calling them out on it? Has nobody in this thread actually played anything other than IC since the patch dropped? Pretending that you can't get VR15-16 gear (and hence the mats to craft VR15-16 gear) outside of IC is ridiculous. All you have to do is scale some of the existing dungeons to VR15-16 and you'll get VR15-16 gear dropping in them. No DLC required! Sheesh... Didn't anyone bother to read any of the countless threads from PC players ever since IC dropped on the PTS and then on Live? This has been discussed ad nauseum, and yet you guys still somehow fell for the lie that you can only get this stuff in IC.but once again, you can't get VR15-VR16 gear unless you enter a PVP zone, and once again I'm sure you have no argument for that.

it would make it much easier to farm the gear that is used by tv stones

Yeah, a crapton of Imperial citizens and soldiers are being slaughtered mercilessly by Daedra troops, what should we do?
"Fight each other in the sewers and streets!"
???
what part of the IC are you playing in that you're getting ganked over and over again?
And yet you do not address the real problem of mats being locked in a PvP zone
Any gank is less time a PvE crafter can spend collecting needed mats.... They add up quickly in needless downtime when most casual non PvP players don't have massive amounts of playtime for extend time periods particularly older gamers with careers families outdoor hobbies etc so when they have two hours to gather mats ... Getting killed by gankers 10 times in 2 hours wastes playtime
Simply putting the mats in other PvE zones as well would solve the problem entirely
IC is fun and interesting but gets old quickly from a PvP standing with no real small group encounters to speak of
It must really be awful for those that do not like to PvP in the least just trying to gather mats I would think

Risk for Reward becomes No Risk No Reward, just like everything else in this game. Many PvPers welcome this because it is literally the only place dieing in PvP actually has a price.
What you mean is PVPers welcome this because they can troll and grief PVE players while not having to worry about dieing as much themselves.
Not at all. If you feel you are that threatened then you can always grab some PvP-loving friends by your logic to help protect you from the "griefers". Beyond that what everyone needs to realize is there is only 1 portion of all of Tamriel and Oblivion where PvP is possible and now PvPers have a new place to play in. Did ya'll complain this much when PvPers were killing you while you were trying to quest across Cyrodiil too? You enter Cyrodiil in general at your own risk but there has never really been any penalty for dieing in PvP until now, which made PvP of no consequence. Now that there is a form of risk involved, and on brand new content at that, everyone is crying about it. Not trying to be rude but honestly, get over it.
Point still being, max level crafting and being able to earn CPs is in Imperial Cities. You can tell PvE'ers all day enter at their own risk, but they shouldn't have to. Smoke and mirrors don't change the system.
Well the Imperial City was designed as a PvP zone so not much choice there lol
No it wasn't. Imperial City was designed to kill any cadwells gold cps grinding area and to give PvPer's warden keep status over all other's trying to progress in the game. The only reason this DLC is PvP is to keep players from progressing while giving Zos the stance to say.. Its there if you want it.. We are innocent.
You want me to PvP to get CPs.. That's fair.. Reset anyone's CP that was earned outside of a PvP zone.. and then it's on.. Other wise don't stick your twitch crew BS.. all over me. Trying to show them shining with 700cps like theyre any good at anything.. 20 years.. Since UO.. I will stick my foot in 98% of the player bases.. you know where.. And here I am.. Sitting here in this game.. Trying to earn CPs while some crud ganks me over and over.. with his 700 cps, and I'm suppose to pretend that I can't beat him because I suck.. When I know its because he has grinded in safe zones.. while Im playing catch up?
The only reason I'm still here is out of hatred. When I catch up in CPs. I will Dread Lord over you.

PvE players do not want to PvP or even bother PvP players doing our thing
I think OP concern is PvE gear and crafting mats are walled behind a PvP zone
Let's not kid ourselves and say its hybrid lol
If the crafting mats and ability to farm PvE gear upgrades were in a non PvP zone as well the PvPers could enjoy the zone all they warned with zero complaints from crafters and PvEers
Saying tough titty wait for an expansion half a year or more away is a little much considering the top PvE gear is now gated behind a PvP Gankfest zone that is basically just Zerg after Zerg that's actually NOT real PvP at all. I am a heavy PvPer in many games this one is not what I would call a great PvP experience anyway but the game overall is great
PVE gear is not walled behind PVP grind. PVP gear is walled behind PVP grind.
Crafting mtas is not walled behind anything. Go PVE. Legends say you can get the mats there too.
Imperial City is a pvp zone. Learn to defend yourself or don't go in. You won't hear me complain about how boring PVE is when the next PVE expansion comes out.
you actually can't get the new mats ANY OTHER WAY outside of IC, other than hoping you get a single one from a hireling.

This already happens in PVP zones.. players have mutliple accounts two of which would be in the same campaign. As far as I am concerned, they need to make it so if one one character homes a campaign, you cannot also guest it with another character.
