When I complained to ESO support, they told me to log out and back in. I tried this several times with no success.
I am now trying to get a refund from XBOX Live.

This is one of those examples of someone raging without research.

I would explain things but i can't be bothered go read patch notes to see whats changed.

I re-assigned all of my skills with no resolution

I read the patch notes again
There is nothing I can find that addresses the issue of a weakened character.
I re assigned my skill points before I ever posted.
My champion points are still showing as there
I returned to the mage stone to re activate the blessing.

I am at a loss as how to proceed.
No further help from ESO support
XBOX support is trying to help but so far no improvement.

Crafted gear bonus's has been lowered, abilities have been changed, passives have been changed, re pick your mundus.

You don't need to start the game again, just pick a different build, dmg has been lowered all round.

You change all skills etc at shrines (like shrine of stendar sp?) They cost a bit but are worth it. They are in your factions main city. Im Ad so they are in gratwood.

My first re build was not what I wanted at all, (got freaking one shotted lol by the banekin handler) so I spent... around 11k re doing everything.

Only problem now is I gotta level a bunch of previously ignored skill trees.

I recommend you take a look at some YouTube videos on magicka templars.go to YouTube.com and search for a guy named Deltia. He has a number of build suggestions that might help you.

If you're having trouble surviving, try telling us some details of your build. We cannot see what you are doing.

Sometimes the changes to the game can feel unfair until you make that one change. For example, my vr14 magicka templar felt really weak all of a sudden after the PC patch the other night. I still am not where i want to be but i found that my Blazing Shield ability was actually HURTING more than it was helping!

So i adjusted my bar and tested. I found that I lived better by ignoring that shield completely and spamming puncturing jabs. But i still felt weak and my magicka was draining fast. So i laid down that magicka-regen and armor buff (last ability on the healing tree. .. forgot the name - on my phone and not @ home).

Like i said, i am still not where i want to be on survivability but at least i can take 2 - 4 mobs in IC quest areas now and at least survive most gank attempts from one ortwo players. Can't quite kill like i could two days ago but I'll get there.

When major patches come through the game, your build becomes more like a process for a little while than a solid set of abilities.

Try using YouTube videos to research builds but check the date the videos were posted! Don't listen to anything older than about 1 month... unless it specifically states something like "Imperial City".

A lot of big changes happened with this update. It is more probable than not a relearn to play issue.

If you would post your build and gear people might be able to help you more. We have a good community here and our beta testers, I mean PC gamers, have been running the changes for a while and might have some insight on how to change your setup to be more effective.

I am Veteran Level 5 with +13 champion points in each discipline.
I can't even come close to beating a level 2 boss (not PVP)
I think it is a bit much for the DEV to make us go through all of the various options to get to the point where I can continue the game. there must be millions of combinations of talents and weapons.

My setup before the update was good, now it is useless.

One of the big changes, is the removal of PvP buffs from PvE side. One could that encounter even before the patch if the home campaign that was set up for the character lost the match, losing keeps, scrolls etc.
The loss of the buffs was significant.

When going vet DSA we always set a buff campaign to Home, for the benefits.

I personally looking forward for this new set of challanges. Love learning newish stuff anew.

didnt you forget to spent skill points on armor line?
check all your passives and stats points.
repair itens, check food.

well wearing all heavy armor and using a staff is going to cause quite a few issues when it comes to maximizing your damage output.

Light armor is going to give you spell penetration and magic pools that will give you higher damage.

You say he is a vet 5 high elf, but what class?
