Which leads to slower progression. I guess the developers don't understand that if we wanted to play WoW and be gated at every turn. We would probably be playing WoW.
That's all fine and dandy to the replies thus far but I believe the point he is making is ...
PvE players do not want to PvP or even bother PvP players doing our thing
I think OP concern is PvE gear and crafting mats are walled behind a PvP zone
Let's not kid ourselves and say its hybrid lol
If the crafting mats and ability to farm PvE gear upgrades were in a non PvP zone as well the PvPers could enjoy the zone all they warned with zero complaints from crafters and PvEers
Saying tough titty wait for an expansion half a year or more away is a little much considering the top PvE gear is now gated behind a PvP Gankfest zone that is basically just Zerg after Zerg that's actually NOT real PvP at all. I am a heavy PvPer in many games this one is not what I would call a great PvP experience anyway but the game overall is great

Risk for Reward becomes No Risk No Reward, just like everything else in this game. Many PvPers welcome this because it is literally the only place dieing in PvP actually has a price.

Just like how PVPers need to do PVE to get gear they need?
It's just the way the game is. It isn't divided between PVPers and PVEers, it is a game that has a good chunk of both and someone trying to only play one or the other won't get the full experience.
Gonna ask the same question I did in the last thread.
What PvE content are you super PvE types getting hyped for and trying to gear up for, exactly? The two new vet 4 man's?
Come on now. Orsinium will have the same stuff and the same levels and its all for you. There is simply nothing to try to rush and gear up for if you have no interest in smashing into other players.

What you mean is PVPers welcome this because they can troll and grief PVE players while not having to worry about dieing as much themselves.

Not at all. If you feel you are that threatened then you can always grab some PvP-loving friends by your logic to help protect you from the "griefers". Beyond that what everyone needs to realize is there is only 1 portion of all of Tamriel and Oblivion where PvP is possible and now PvPers have a new place to play in. Did ya'll complain this much when PvPers were killing you while you were trying to quest across Cyrodiil too? You enter Cyrodiil in general at your own risk but there has never really been any penalty for dieing in PvP until now, which made PvP of no consequence. Now that there is a form of risk involved, and on brand new content at that, everyone is crying about it. Not trying to be rude but honestly, get over it.

Which depends on time, and who is on, or what guild you are apart of. Are all PVPers like you and respond with no logic at all? Or are you guys trolling or what? PVEers didn't complain because PVE materials weren't LOCKED TO CYRODIL. Not to mention Cyrodil is very large open expanse with keeps and zone control and Imperial City is more akin to a large dungeon. If I needed to get away I could run for a long time without even coming across any obstacles, not true in IC, there are mobs all over the map, obviously, not wide expanses of grassland.
Not trying to be rude but you clearly don't get what people are complaining about and your logic is terrible and flawed. Have the mats obtainable outside a small PVP zone were Zergs are or multiple NBs are just sitting around waiting to gank you. Im not sure how you don't get it.

Point still being, max level crafting and being able to earn CPs is in Imperial Cities. You can tell PvE'ers all day enter at their own risk, but they shouldn't have to. Smoke and mirrors don't change the system.

First of all when did I say I was a PvPer? Or a PvEer at that. I dabble in both and then some as I please so I am able to see the vantage point of both angles. I also know how much PvE content this game has over PvP content. The reason you cannot see my logic and do not understand why I am not agreeing with you is because the vantage point you are taking is rather selfish to an extent. Quite frankly as a PvEer you should have sufficient capabilities and/or Champion Points to boost your chances at survival. If you don't then you obviously haven't been rising to the occasion enough.
PvEers can basically consider the Imperial City their greatest challenge yet, as it actually does bring PvE vs PvP to the table. Rather than whine about PvPers hindering your PvEing though rise to the challenge and do something about it, regardless of what that something is. You can't expect the devs to just kneel before you and change it just because of the PvP element which is actually a large part of what this DLC was bringing to the table in the first place involved.

No it wasn't. Imperial City was designed to kill any cadwells gold cps grinding area and to give PvPer's warden keep status over all other's trying to progress in the game. The only reason this DLC is PvP is to keep players from progressing while giving Zos the stance to say.. Its there if you want it.. We are innocent.
You want me to PvP to get CPs.. That's fair.. Reset anyone's CP that was earned outside of a PvP zone.. and then it's on.. Other wise don't stick your twitch crew BS.. all over me. Trying to show them shining with 700cps like theyre any good at anything.. 20 years.. Since UO.. I will stick my foot in 98% of the player bases.. you know where.. And here I am.. Sitting here in this game.. Trying to earn CPs while some crud ganks me over and over.. with his 700 cps, and I'm suppose to pretend that I can't beat him because I suck.. When I know its because he has grinded in safe zones.. while Im playing catch up?
The only reason I'm still here is out of hatred. When I catch up in CPs. I will Dread Lord over you.

No you clearly favor PVP just how all your posts gloss over the fact that the materials are locked to a PVP zone and you have no response for that.
"Did ya'll complain this much when PvPers were killing you while you were trying to quest across Cyrodiil too?"
From this sentence you clearly don't understand and your logic is awful. Has nothing to do with my "vantage point" fool learn to read. I PVP too. I just don't PVE only. I have a little over 100 champion points. The only thing you can say is "rise to the challenge" or "stop whining about it" Which is you coping out because you don't have any valid argument. Your chances of survival have nothing to do with champion points or "capabilities" when you are grossly outnumbered it won't make a difference. Everyone can be battle leveled to VR 14 medium geared character, but once again, you can't get VR15-VR16 gear unless you enter a PVP zone, and once again I'm sure you have no argument for that.
Care to try again with your horrible logic or are you just going to admit you are a troll?
Gonna ask the same question I did in the last thread.

The mats are gated what do you not understand? They gated PvE materials to craft with behind a PvP zone.... I don't see how that concept eludes you .... Lol
It's non of your business what a PvE player what's to gear themselves up for with level appropriate gear.... It's the natural hamster wheel of MMOs to want the best in slot item for either PvE or PvP so you make no valid point. So you just write off PvE players as not needing best in slot PvE gear for the two new dungeons to grind for dungeons points? You lost me in your logic or rather lack thereof

Thank you for your insightful contribution to the conversation.
what's the fuss about the telvar stones anyway? lol
i just spend my stones on runes to enchant the gear that i crafted from deconstructing vr15 gear. (wich you don't lose when you get ganked btw...) I mainly pve and occasionally jump into pvp to escape from pve (yes even as a pve player i get bored of it at times). I run IC with a pure pve build with a group of 5 players max. Grind the gear for decon, any stones that you get with that are a bonus. 15k stones + enough decon gear to get full vr15 gear and 4 vr16 weapons, by running in circles twice a week for 2 á 3 hours.. (Have to admit i trade materials that i don't need) Srsly people stop complaining please.. PLEASE!? Also.. A tip... go in sneak when you enter a room, room is cleared of mobs? wait till they respawn and see if enemy players pop out of stealth to kill them, and if they do? gank them instead
