Switch your ultimates so that vamp passives apply. You need one vamp skill on each bar for the regen to factor in.

if it's console, it's still irrelevant.
imho you need more defense. if it's heavy armor, have a bar with the shield reflect (that lowers blockcosts as well) and have purifying ritual and BoL on that bat.
If light armro, have your restoration bar include harness amgicka and healing ward and stack shields
Use dual wield instead 1h/shield.

It might be good if he wants to nuke someone down quickly, but tbh I prefer the added survivability of sword and board. If anything I say drop Destro staff for dual wield and slot Radiant Destruction on that bar.Use dual wield instead 1h/shield.

I also switched my ultimates now because when dlc comes out I'll be used to switching to the support bar to use my offensive ult. I usually slot 1h charge instead of toppling charge, but prob not after stamina changes.

Are you stamina? I use the toppling charge just cause it's magicka based, and its just a good ability. I wish they'd make it like ambush though where you could close out of a CC.. would be a nice.Scyantific wrote: »If you want a good knockback try out Aurora Javelin.
I ran the Javelin for awhile and man it was fun, but the Destructive Reach has crazy range, and a DoT.
But, I might throw it back on for awhile and see how it goes using something else.
Javelin got a nice dmg buff. In IC i can hit people for 4k dmg at max distance. If it crits or procs burning light that is just a bonus. Burning light proccing is a thing for me. Blazing shield (chance to proc)-> javelin -> toppling -> jabs. Really you will proc 2 times on average. Also have 32% crit rate so there will also be a crit hit in there. You can get a nice burst off with this combo. Especially if you got 45k magicka and 2k spell dmg...

I'm going to have to play around with Javelin a little more now that it got that buff. Admitting though, I might kick out the knockback altogether for IC, not sure how useful it will be in a CQC setting.. (I mainly use it in groups/sieges, taking resources, and trolling people on ledges/keeps.)
Off hand question - what do you think about the Cyrodiil's Light 5 pc set on a Templar? It seems like most of our abilities would be considered a cast, so we'd get that 25% dmg reduction while using sweeps/oppression...
In theory it is nice. Most spells are channeled. If your main dps is sweeps you cant go wrong with cyrodiils light. Problem is u need as much v15/v16 gear as possible. The enchants are WAY more powerful. Not sure if cyrodiils light is scaled to v16 but pretty sure it isn't. You wont be able to get 40k+ magicka with v14 gear. So... no I would not bother with it now.
Easiest to get atm is v15 phoenix set untill you can get your hands on v16 gear. 2 piece heavy v15/16 or 1 piece med, 1 heavy. Crafteable sets could be magnus or something. Jewelry obvious choice is willpower but they are expensive.
5 piece phoenix, 2 piece engine guardian (2HA or 1HA/1Medium armor), 3 jewelry of willpower
Weapon... I prefer at least one bar b&s. Torugs pact for more spell powaaaa. Can also go dual wield.
I like s&b because with some CP in block reduction its easy to do selective blocks even as a magicka build.
If you are dark elf, got undaunted passives. U can get 21k HP, 45k magicka and around 1.5-2k spell dmg (depending on if u invest in regen/weapon choice). With the engine guardian u dont need regen as much. Can go more spell powar.
If engine guardian and willpower are not an option. V15 magnus set (4 piece, 2 piece clothing, 2 piece weapons) and jewelry of the healers habit set can go a long way. Or warlock jewelry I guess but thats v12.
