Alliance campaign is so confusing

Okay, so I finally get accepted through the que for my home alliance campaign, but it never really tells you where to go. Seriously, what am I supposed to do in it? I'm in the Azura's star 30 day standard without a clue of what to do. All the 'tutorial' did was have me teleport to a keep and that was it.

I'm assuming you're playing on console, because on PC the alliance zone chat is always abuzz with news on where the latest sieges are being staged. On console you have to find a keep or something that's being sieged and fend off invaders (or try to take it). They aren't going to just tell you where to go unless you're doing the quests there. You gotta find the PVP for yourself.

Click on map and see if there is any action going. A keep that is 'lit' will inform you that it is under attack. Otherwise you'll have to find it yourself.

I'm actually playing on PC... and it is completely dead. I've asked about 4 times where to go/where the sieges are, and it is dead empty. It's as if no one is even here.

Everyone is probably in Imperial City.

So what is the point of this useless in game feature then? Is this REALLY what "pvp" is supposed to be in this game? Running around for 40 minutes with nothing to do, no action, no one to be found?

There really is no real "story" in the PvP area. You can run around and do side quests, sky shard hunt, fish, gather ore, plants and wood or team up with other players and try to take control of some fort or what not while fighting other players from the other 2 alliances, or just hunt down lone players from the other alliances and try and kill them.

It's not a useless feature. It's just that you came in right after a new pvp expansion was released and everyone is still busy playing with it. Once the newness of IC has worn off, people will likely go back to regular pvp.

If you really want something to do, go join a guild that does regular pvp. Should have no trouble finding stuff to do then. That or go to Imperial City.

I want the skill perks, but I have no idea how to level them if no one is attacking or doing the objectives. You can't just solo a fort....

I'm assuming you're on a campaign where your alliance holds the whole map? Can't force other people to play if they don't want to. Trust me, on times where there is action, it's fun. You just came at the wrong place and /or the wrong time. Come back another time, and maybe another allliance is starting to recoup the keeps. This doesn't happen instantly. Patience

If what Qyrk said is true and your alliance controls the whole map try to guest on another server where more is happening. If you can, I don't know how the console version works.

I think it's because I have a 4/60 speed and stam horse and everyone else is maxed lol . It's just not very fair for the players who aren't VR16 and are lower level, especially if they travel slower. By the time you get there, the action is far over.

Use the fast travel to travel as close as you can to a fort that's getting attack.
