Cant roll dodge while snared

It performs the animation but I do not move away from the danger that I am trying to dodge. Intended? I hope not.

i dont see it anywhere in the patchnotes so i dont think its intended.

It happens with Meteor for example. I block the stun, but then I can not roll dodge out of the AoE. I did that all the time before patch.

I hope they will fix this soon. It's so annoying to die in those boss aoes in the sewers, because you would need 3 dodgerolls to get out of it. Same goes for other ground aoes like eruption or caltrops.

Roll with your bow 40% speed buff, retreating will give the same 40% buff and remove the snare and the medium armor has a power that drops snares till they fix whatever this is that's your best bet. Knowing ZoS the fix will be Soon™.

Its not a glitch, its supposed to be like that for some reason. Every stamina build is now forced to run shuffle to purge slows and its not fun , one more reason to equip that staff...

Are you talking about one of the assorted 98% boss snares in IC? They seem to be a bit OP.

If you're anywhere close to the middle, or they've dropped them in 25 different places (no real estate to be had), you can pretty much count on dying.

Wyy is it that they fix/add something but at the same time break something else? Tightly coupled systems all over their codebase?
