To improve gameplay for solo or small groups something need to change. As it is now a Zerg's if managed well rules the roost....
There should be a mechanism that takes into account a solo or small groups reduction in detection versus a large/zerg group increased chance of detection when it comes to the NPC in the area....
Suggestion: Modify the range of NPC's aggro trigger based on group size.
- Solo standard aggro distance...
- Small group increased aggro distance...
- Large group double aggro range....
- Zerg triple+ aggro range..
This is one idea and the actual aggro changes could be based on a set percent per person in the group (ie +1% per person in the group).
This addition would change the Zerg's hold by allowing creative smaller groups using NPC's and terrain features to influence the encounter as opposed to the larger group wins as it is now.
