    Brilliant solution, would love to see something like this come in, unfortunately its a simple yet effective solution so it will never make its way into the game.

    My suggestions to reduce blobbing in general (not just IC):

    1) Reduce the Battle Spirit nerfs (damage/heals/shields) to 35%. More burst means bigger chance to wipe them.
    2) Remove AoE caps from damage abilities
    3) Introduce 12-man caps on all the utility skills from Alliance War skill lines (Purge, Barrier, War Horn, Retreating Manoeuvres)

    ...then wait for a month or two for the above changes to make a difference (takes some time for the meta to change).

    As for inside IC, they need to reduce maximum group size from 24 to either 8 or 6. You definitely don't need more than that to do the content and there are no strategic objectives that require that many people.

    Also in IC the spaces are a lot tighter and there are no sieges allowed. A 24-man raid (considering the damage nerfs too) is ridiculously strong in that environment and ruining the fun for everyone else.

    Though ultimately, IC needs gated access. You have the home keeps? You can get in. Otherwise, no. If already inside when your faction loses access you stay until you die. If/When you die inside but without IC access you can get rezed but you can't spawn inside, only at your Cyrodiil base.
