Wow OP. That's pretty messed up. I'm aware that it kinda is your fault, an how it was an honest mistake. But truth be told, that's pretty extreme. If I were ZOS, I'd definitely return your money. The whole situation seems kinda sketchy, to be honest. It was a clear mistake (as I don't know anyone who'd intentionally deposit 2M in the bank), and for the guild leader to just kick you out immediately after? That's just wrong. Say what you want, everyone. But if it were you who that happened to, you'd feel bad and ask for some form of compassion or compensation as well.
Either way, I hope this is a lesson learned OP. To be very careful of not only which guild you join, but of how you handle things. I hope you either can get your money back, or a fraction of it back. If neither, then I apologize to hear man. Take it easy.

I was supposed to start my own guild with that money. now up s**** Creek with no paddle.
and the biggest flaw is this form of scamming is completely acceptable.
Seriously, were you trying to add the gold to a different guild, and the UI bugged out? If so, that is what you need to say in the support ticket. Not, "oh god, I got scammed by a bad man." Getting scammed this way they will not help you with. The UI bugging out? That they probably will.

Well he deposited the gold in the wrong guildbank.
He may have intended to lend his friend 2 million gold, for x reason.
He may run a guild, and wanted to deposit the gold in his own guildbank.
He may have wished to donate 2 million gold to his favorite trading guild.
He may have owed someone money, and the guildbank was the fastest option. In case the other players inbox is full, and plays in a different faction - there will not be option for direct trade.
For some players millions come and go, it is not that big of a deal - where for others 2k is what they scrap up after a whole week of questing. I've seen 6 digit numbers be thrown in and out of guildbanks, but I've also played since the beta and on PC platform, and I've been in a lot of different types of guilds.

I also have made the same mistakes as you but with items instead of gold.
The other issue may be that there is no transaction log that the guild leader can refer to, so he or she can't determine who deposited the gold; correct me if I'm wrong on this.
So here are my suggestions to the developers:
1) Like I previously posted in about the skill resets in that once you make all your transactions you should have options to submit or abort the transaction with the name of the bank, guild, or merchant included.
2) All transactions with a guild store or bank should be recorded and be available to the administrator of the store or bank. The transaction should at a minimum include the player's name, item sold or stored, and amount or cost of the item.
I be pissed too if I lost 2 million gold, it takes me two months of farming to make a million gold.
There is a log any member can see
