IC Dungeons Gives Keys?

Hey I found in a confusing situation and I really need to clear my head, If I do the White gold Tower or The Prison Dungeon in normal or vet mode I get a key to open the undaunted chest?

If either of those is a vet pledge, you run it on normal and get a silver key or run it on vet and get a gold key. As of this time, the scaling is such that I'd probably just scratch the gold key for the days these ones come up. You need a fairly elite group or a lot of time on your hands for these vet versions, even scaled right down to V1.

Normal feels like Veteran
Veteran feels like Super Elite

Personally, I wish normal was slightly easier, vet felt like vet and they kept the new harder difficulty but created a new name for it so hardcore players had a mode to play but the other 99% of the game might have a shot at the gold key pledge.

The same place you pick up any other pledge. In your capital city. Mournhold, Wayrest or Elden Root. I believe there are 10 daily vet pledges now so you should see these 2 new ones in the rotation every 10 days. If you want the quest that rewards a skill point, the quest giver is inside the dungeon.

You get two gold keys if you complete the Whitegold Tower or imperial Prison daily. You have to do it in veteran mode and activate the hardmode at the last boss.

I found Normal mode for WGT and ICP to be doable, tbh. We were able to 3-man White-Gold up to the Planar Inhibitor because we didn't pick up on the mechanics in the first place. Molag Kena was far easier, just your usual tank and spank while killing adds and avoiding AoEs.

Now the veteran versions, whoever screwed up the scaling on those needs to be fired. Mobs with 300k+ health that hit like a truck while our damage barely tickles them (not to mention the uninterruptible heals too)? Even after re-speccing for massive amounts of armor and spell penetration we still had trouble with the ridiculous damage input.
