How do we feel about the neutral mobs in IC damaging our gear?

I'm personally not a fan. If there are enemy players around, I don't think that gear should be damaged.

Your gear does not lose effectiveness when damaged anymore. It only stops protecting you when fully worn out.

I thought that was just Value. I'm pretty sure Armor rating is still tied to Durability.

I think the second sentence makes it pretty clear the patch note is about the protective value of armor, not monetary value.

Well gold sinks are needed and since you don't lose armour anymore until it hit 0% durabilty, i'm fine with it.

Personally I think its a really good thing, it levels the playing field a little bit across classes. It could maybe even have a little bigger impact than it does.
