I keep seeing people in the forums refer to posters as "OP", as in the "the OP who posted above clearly doesn't get it". I know what OP means in the context of being over-powered, like "the Boss is OP", but what's it mean here? The poster's name isn't OP?

- When talking about a person on a forum it usually means original poster, ie the person who started the thread.
- When talking about a post on the forum It usually means opening post, ie the first post in the thread.
- When talking about items, skills, classes etc in a game it usually means over powered, ie unbalanced compared to other items, skills or classes that are supposed to be its equal.
