    Are you playing on PC or console?

    ..if PC.. Click "name" and it will sort it the opposite way.

    Indeed, there are filters for names, armour, damage, value etc, which are clickable on the PC version

    The OP is correct, though. By default the listing is Z-A on PC. Just seems a bit odd that the default is in what many would consider a reverse order.

    It's always been that way on PC, from DAY 1. They don't know how to fix this, but it's not that bad a bug. What has it amounted to, a few thousand unnecessary mouse clicks?

    It's only been 2 years:

    1. Go to inventory.
    2. Nope, don't wanna see it backwards, click to sort correctly.
    3. Repeat 2.

    I must have reported that a 100 times since beta ...

    Yea and who forgot to add the auto stack script for guild banks on PS4, patch this now ZoS. Ravens are spending too much time stacking items when they should be gearing up for Trials dammit.

    That is because of the bank stacking issue from the early days. They haven't fixed the underlying issue, so don't expect this to change until it does. Roomba is good for this on PC- but you're on PS4, so you're just SOL.

    They didn't forget. It did auto-stack initially but I think by the time early release was done they disabled it because people were somehow using the auto-stacking to dupe items. 1.5 years later and they apparently can't figure out how to enable auto-stack without people exploiting it. I mean it's only done properly in EVERY OTHER MMO IN HISTORY. Auto-stacking is hard, y'all.

    They have also stayed completely silent about this since they disabled it. I have brought this up before in the ESO Live AUA thread and made several threads about it but of course they won't answer actual questions that aren't cherry picked softballs and somehow revolve around cash shop outfits or new mounts for sale. It's pretty sad.
