Can't think of a good name for my new character.

I'm creating another character for my 4th playthrough and I'm bad at coming up with names. So was just wondering if anyone had any ideas. It's going to be a Female Dark Elf Sorcerer that I might make a vampire.

    I know but I still want a good name. I like to have my characters... perfect. Not just what they simply need to be.

    I can't help you with choosing your character's name, nobody really can. It's up to you what you prefer and what do you like to come out of to use as a source for your name. For instance, my Imperial characters always had names that were composed of latin words (due to Imperials being close resemblance to Romans) and these latin words were hinting at my Imperial character's personality. Either pure evil, good or balanced, their names were pointing at what they are.

    So I always try to stick to lore-based names - if I had an Argonian, he'd probably bear name like "Sees-into-Future", or an Orcish character whose name would make use of the traditional Orc way of names. For a Khajiit character I'd look up a Khajiiti vocabulary and make a name out of it.

    I have my usual repertoire of somewhat elvish-ly sounding names, since I usually roleplay elves. Of course, I used them for my non-roleplayish alts too, which in retrospect may have been an unfortunate decision, as I am starting to warm to some of them, yet feel vexed by their less then lore-ful names now... but hopefully someday there might be an character rename option in the crown store to take care of that.

    As for character names... it truly is a choice only the player can make. You can look up some samples if you like lore-ish names, you can "borrow" from other universes that fit your character idea or you can take some words, (or random facekeyboarding letter combinations) twist and play with it until they are no longer recognizable yet seem like a viable name to you...
