Any ETA on stutter/fps/lag and annoying long loading screen fix ?

My system:

i7-4790K, 16 GB RAM, SSD Samsung Evo 1 TB SSD, 2 x Geforce Titan X SLI, playing on Win10, newest Nvidia Win10 driver, 100Mbit/s fibre internet connection, all appropriate ports forwarded. Visuals set to ultra with max particle settings which did not cause any issues before you came up with your "performance patch 1.7".

...and no it does not matter if I play with (only updated) addons or not and it happens not just in crowded zones but everywhere, even in 4-men PvE instances.

Only relogging is able to cure the above issues for a while (besides the annoying loading screens, those are always there).

Playing feels like a roll back into the stone age of PCs.

Oh and before I forget that...a 28'' display is pretty useless as long as the custom UI scale option won't work. You have to redo the whole thing after every relog because the settings won't get saved me seems.

I'm having exactly the problems with stuttering you describe, also on a computer that should quite easily handle anything thrown at it. I've had to give up as the game's currently unplayable. Gutted.

Have the same issues. I disabled EVERY addon I have and it's the same.

Latest nVidia drivers. Windows 10. 2700k w/ 8GB of RAM using an 840 Pro SSD.

Group couldn't finish vCOA last night because the game was a slide-show.

I did some tests and the GPU while playing eso is full power draw and full load, then it dips, then full load, then it dips to almost nothing, then full load, then it dips to nothing, then full load.....

ESO is definitely causing the issue and it happens after around 20-30 mins of playing, closing the game down and starting up again gets rid of it and then it starts again after 20-30 mins of playing.

This is where the fps drops and stuttering is coming from and I think it's to do with the way ESO is handling draw calls.

Basically it looks like they did not optimize before they released the DLC, I am guessing they had a deadline and wanted a cash boost so decided to just release it and do an optimization patch later on....rather than before the release.

This is what happens in a publisher game, even if someone told them "it's not ready" "we need to optimize it" they still release anyway because they have a marketing deadline...

I am sure they are aware of this and they will patch it "eventually" but anything to do with the crown store and other things will probably take priority...

Deinstalling ALL addons + deleting the saved variables solved the stuttering / fps drop issue. At least I was able to do normal DSA now after already losing 1 day of playtime.

...but playing on this lacking default UI without any addons isn't a solution too.

The last update to .lua API seems to cause memory leaks or at least has unpredicted effects on performance.

You guys probably know this, but for anyone else who might be reading the thread - some stuttering can also be caused by running the game in "fullscreen(windowed)" mode instead of native "fullscreen". So switch to the latter in video options if you can.
