The Loadingscreen and the lagging in general is much more worse than when i played PS2 during double exp weekends (and that thing was a lagging to the heights).

No change here, on the PC EU server. I don't PvP and haven't been to IC, but the ordinary PvE zones (non-VR versions) are fine on both my machines. I'm unguilded, don't use addons and my Nvidia graphics drivers are 3 years old on my main machine (I've never updated them precisely because they run everything including ESO flawlessly) while my AMD drivers on the other machine are recently installed.

Very long loading times. On time I fell through the world, and reappeared next to a wayshrine. Terribly slow loading textures, etc. The latest patch really screwed up performance and quality all around.

Yes I am experiencing significantly longer loading times. I also have ESO running directly from an SSD.

The increase has been from approximately 10s before the patch to about 60s now. That is with ALL addons both enabled and disabled.

ZOS needs to look into this and soon.

"extremely" is relative...

That said, I know exactly how long it took my characters to load from the character selection screen pre-patch: 24 +/- 1 seconds. I know this because I have getting the twice-daily hireling mails down to a science. Post-patch loading now takes 44+ seconds, sometimes nearly a minute, which is about double at least.

My personal testing has proven that having addons or no addons has no impact on these new, longer load times. I have tested with multiple accounts on two separate computers, one having Nvidia graphics and the other ATI just to eliminate driver issues. This problem is ZOS-caused.

In conjunction with this, I now often see all characters around me as textureless models when I first log in. Character textures load over a varying number of seconds with characters wearing disguises/costumes going through the "putting outfit on" animation. Btw, this animation also now plays when I encounter random characters out on landscape and will repeat if I go beyond a certain distance and return. I've never seen this behavior before.

This is just one area of many that I'm noticing and I've hardly done anything in game so far. Unfortunately my 40-hour a week job is not testing and documenting the myriad of bugs introduced by this single patch, most of which was working fine before and ZOS just randomly broke it. Just sad.

Long loading screens during initial log-on (it's the screen with the round thingy that turns around and around, in the right bottom corner of the screen. Guess that's the screen after log-in, but it's getting your character list.)

Also, I couldn't play until Tuesday afternoon, and noticed a problem with my melee and sorc characters in that it took a long time -- 2-4 seconds which can be an eternity in a game -- before abilities/spells would show up/execute?? I guess I had lag problems, but nobody else said anything about it.

Anyway, playing yesterday and today, it seems to be back to normal.

Anyone using FIOS or that new Comcast I-net connection - supposed to be really fast. I have Verinzon DSL 760, which means @ 305 kb/s download. Takes forever.

Yes, my loading screen times have been horrendously long and by horrendous I mean 1.5 to 2 mins. It's a buzz kill to be psyched for the IC, but then it takes a long time to get in districts for quests and such.

I've been seeing load screens of up to 6 minutes this evening... Most have been more like 1.5-2 minutes, but I've had a couple that were over 5 minutes each.


Furthermore, I consider that collectibles must be bankable.

Yes, it seems like loading screens and zoning take way longer to load in. I also have found that when i log on or zone to a new area, i see 'SHADOW PEOPLE' who are other players, but their characters are black. Sometimes it stays that way for nearly a minute before it renders in the details. This is definitely new, because i have not seen this ever, until the launch of IC.

Half the time it takes 1 to 2 min at minimum. Some times after 3 minutes or more I just shut down and restart.

There is also the fact that when I try to jump to a group member to enter a dungeon it always says : instance is full. Even though there is nothing wrong with the group, 4 people nothing more.
