Elemental Status Effect nerfs going too far?

Force Shock & Morphs 55% -> 20%
Elemental Ring/Pulsar 55% -> 2%/4%

Seems very drastic, especially that Elemental Ring nerf.
I really enjoyed the elemental status effects and would much rather have seen a nerf to damage or magicka cost instead of nerfing this unique mechanic. It's so pointless now, might as well remove it.

I didn't realize they were that low...sheesh. The pulsar/elemental ring is considered OP, so it was nerfed. First the range a while ago (from 8 to 6m), now this.

So many nerfs to us...so many buffs to enemies...

This is not a friendly update for PVE and Crafting, to be sure.

I never see Concussion effects anymore... it really sucks!

Why did ZOS do this? Who was asking for Elemental status nerfs, LOL?

I hadn't realized it was nerfed this hard at first. I interpreted the patch notes in a different way until I checked ingame.

I'm a returning player so I may not be up to date with the meta but from what I had heard Stamina was already doing better in AoE scenarios. So why was this nerf needed? And why not nerf a different angle instead of taking the unique, synergistic and most fun part out of the destruction staff abilities?

I don't use the offensive skills much from destro staff, but I noticed that Elemental Drain seems not working or being nerfed into oblivion as well - same goes for Siphon Spirit from resto staff.

I play healer normally..

Sure they nerf this but still allow stuff like tornado aoe spam for 15-20k hits...
