Group or Solo?

I didn't vote because there's not an option for how i feel. I like solo and group equally. I do all the questing solo. I enjoy the story and find myself not paying attention and rushing when doing it with a group. But i equally enjoy doing pledges and dungeons with guild mates, as well as pvp. It all depends on what mood i'm in and who's online to potentially play with.

Understood, and all things being equal you should probably choose group as it needs to catch up some if you like them equally. If you are one of the ones restricted to more solo content because of play time then choose that one.

But I understand if you choose none. I'm all for choices even ones I didn't account for.

I prefer Group with the option to PvP or Solo
Being an MMO I always prefer grouping whether with a partner or more. However - I do a lot more soling and enjoy it. I have tried PVP and it was okay but not my thing so much.

There are peer-reviewed articles available on-line that show an increasing trend toward solo play in multiplayer gaming. My personal preference is also toward solo play as I decline nearly 100% of the invitations I get to group. I simply prefer to gather, grind, quest and move through the game at my own pace performing the actions I chose to perform. I have not done any group dungeon or any PVP yet and at this point don't plan to.

We have all heard the argument about the acronym breakdown for MMO and how that means if we are playing a MMO we should expect to group up, but in reality that is a false argument. The second M in MMO does stand for multiplayer, which divides into "multi" and "player". We all know what "player" means. The Webster dictionary defines "multi" as "more than one, more than two, and many", but nothing in the definition indicates groups. And generally, you will find (and game developers know) that forced grouping is fairly unpopular with the gaming community.

Even in MMOs I just love soloing but always having the option to ask for aid, trade, group-up et c. I really like taking things on at my own leisure, on my own.

(Absolutely love playing with Randoms as well, I don't know if that's just me...) :)

An MMO should mean there are other people playing at the same time as you, that you can interact with (should you choose to). It doesn't mean share every experience you have with someone else. Your character is your own, and so is your story, well, that's how I perceive it to be.

I am a bit of a sociophobe, so I prefer solo play... and to group with friends. Not that I have many of those I'd go on group missions with, and generally with the few I do have on my freiends list, there is level differnece or faction lines making things iffy as well, but... someday.

PUGs... eh. On occasion, maybe. Grouping for Cyrodil warbanding... yeah, I suppose. Though even there I am more likely to just follow a group and picth in from the sidelines unless they specifically ask me to join the group...

I like choice. When I want to solo I solo. When I want to group I group. When I want to PvP ... actually that is so rare in this game it's not worth talking about. I like other things, but my primary fun spot is story, so naturally that leads to a lot of solo. And especially the first time through each faction 1-50 I mostly focused on the story and that means solo. After doing all the main/faction story solo, then I wanted to do more group content. But even now I still do mostly solo, leveling alts, crafting, experiment with other skill lines like werewolf and vampire. Because...

Not all groups are the same. At (PC) launch I was in multiple guilds with people I know. Those groups were always fun. Those guilds died. I joined a couple other guilds with strangers. Those groups were mostly fun. Those guilds died. Guilds are transitory, I'm not into re-guilding every few months. Nowadays my only groups are PUGs, and every time I do one I hear Tom Hanks' voice "life is like a box of chocolates ....".
