Can't improve weapons?

I've bought a sword a just enchanted with fire, and have yet to equip it as I want to improve not, but its not showing up under my improvement tab. It shows up under deconstruct, but that's it. Anyone know how I can get it to be under my improvement tab? Its only a white level so I still have all the levels of refinement to go.

Zlater✭✭✭Just make sure to select the blacksmithing station and also make sure the weapons tab is selected up the top, also make sure it is in your inventory and you haven't accidentally equipped it.Ask for an invite to the greatest network of guilds ever. ✭✭✭✭✭Does the item have a value of 0g? I have seen odd things happen to modified "junk" items.
For example, I looted a five of Quicksilver Greatswords from a display rack. Each had a value of zero. I upgraded one with a poison glyph to make it a "Quicksilver Greatsword of Poison". However, at the crafting table, the UI doesn't recognize the poison one as unique. In both the deconstruct and improvement lists, 5 Quicksilver Greatsword are grouped together.Megaservers: PC NA / EU (sometimes) Xbox NA (sometimes)

I've done it before many many times, I know how to use the station, have my weapons unequipped so that they can appear, etc. That's why I am asking now because it seems as though this one particular sword refuses to show up. It wasn't looted I created it. It has an enchanted, and as far as I can see has a value so it looks no different than any other weapon I have upgraded before. That's why this is so.. oddly frustrating lol0
