Possible BUG with Shadowwalker 5p + Clouding Swarm + Ambush

Since Ambush does not count as moving a nightblade can currently utilize the 5p bonus (massive health and stamina regeneration) of shadowwalker while moving aroung with the ambush skill. Is this working as intended or could this be considered a bug since other charges don´t work the same way?

You need to be hidden.

You can't be hidden if your are in combat. You may be invisible with cloak or clouding swarm but it will not work.

As soon as you hit a target with ambush, you are revealed and the shadow walker regen stops.

It does work with cloak. It does work with swarm. If you use ambush while in swarm you don´t get revealed.

Well if it work's nice find but i don't think it's worth it in the end. Only a Magicka Nightblade could really take advantage of this. However the Armour is Medium, so unless you packed a huge amount of Magicka Recovery/Cost Reduction to take advantage of this, it's a waste.

This give's me an idea with one of the new Imperial City Set's. I think you can fit 5 piece shadow-walker and 5 piece Sheer Venom. So you could be a DoT assassin who watches there target's slowly die while you perma cloak and regen hp and stamina. If your ever in a bind just Mist Form away and start to Cloak.

I'm defiantly going to try this. Thank's for the idea.

Using combo, what Derra mentioned, is possible with Cloak and Ambush. In some cases when targets are "in-fight"mode, NB casts cloak skill (Dark Cloak especialy) and rapidly uses 2-3 Ambushes, while still remaining in stealth. Shadow Walker set should then proc. Same works with heavy attacks - they do not removes stealth (from skill) in most cases. Also it should be counted as bug... Its pretty common on live server.

Cloak is hidden.
Sneak is stealth which also counts as hidden.

Ambush is a port so its not counted as moving.
Not sure if Ambush + SW combo is a bug, but basically you´re not moving.. :P

Ambush doesn´t break cloak which is intended and used in a combination with surprise attack to stun enemies.

Using Shadow walker+clock has been around for a while though I imagine the Ambush technique is not well known.

I guess it´s supposed to work while cloaking in combat. I don´t think however that it´s supposed to heal and give you stamina while you stick to an enemy with ambush while in clouding swarm. That´s just broken.

It is there since shadow walker exists.

Ambush spam in clouding swarm works, correct.
Combinations with cloak should still be possible, but with ambush is an another story..

Ambush is teleporting and not moving so it´s certainly not a bug or something, but with the recent buff to the set something too look at.

BUT even if you change that Ambush resets the timer the nb will just ambush and wait a second.
In open pvp without batswarm ambush spam isn´t that useful for just getting ressources back..
