Well this thread was created not long from 2 hours ago so...
Did someone sabotage the wire connecting the tin cans server side?
I can just imagine some kid sneaking up with a pair of scissors

So is anyone on the game or is the game empty. To think of an empty ESO for two hourshorrifying
My god, too many to count. One of them was caused by nature rather than stupidity, though. My old company used to run satellite internet (wimax and docsis). One day there was a major outage, so two of my engineer friends went to investigate the tower. It was so hot up there it had stopped the satellite from functioning and one of them passed out from the heat. The sun: Australian Internets worst enemy.By the way, does anyone have any fun war stories of things that caused server outages? I'll start:

Yes, but that doesn't have anything to do with the server situation. That's just something that I have to deal with on a day to day basis. WOLVERINES!!!!!!imredneckson wrote: »Anyone else having flashbacks about Red Dawn?

I think you are misinterpreting what it was like in England in the '70s and '80s - move where exactly? Terrorism didn't start when the US first noticed it.

So out of all the games, websites, services, etc that are out there, only the ESO servers are impacted by this 'worldwide outage'.... rrrriiight.
ZOS clearly is making up excuses for an internal fault, so that they don't have to give compensation to players. Very disapointing.
