Might be plausible if it was Zenimax's fault. Can't expect them to compensate for something they can't help you know.

I thought it was when you lest health and took damage.
Gear damage happens when you die and when you earn xp.
Gear damage also occurs when you simply wander around.
When you discover a new area you earn xp, so your gear gets damaged.

But they did choose to be affiliated with the server host that is having all the issues.

Untrue. Character death causes the biggest gear degradation.

Then you should submit a ticket, because that's a bug. Unless this was a long time ago... About a year ago there was a bug that caused some people's gear to decay like that. A large chunk of the players were affected, but not everyone.UltimaJoe777 wrote: »UltimaJoe777 wrote: »syandell17 wrote: »im pretty sure gear damage happens when you gain exp, not when you take damagesyandell17 wrote: »

Not talking about exploration just simply being out there in the field or in a cave does it whether you earn xp or not. I've seen my armor reach 0% durability while I was not gaining xp before from anything, unless simply wandering around doing nothing not even discovering grants xp lol

Yes, everything on the internet runs on the same server. Clearly either it's ZOS's fault, or absolutely everything everywhere would be down.GeneralLee wrote: »I don't buy this 'worldwide outage' weak excuse... ZOS clearly is making up excuses for an internal fault, so that they don't have to give compensation to players. Very disapointing.
Weird that a really big internet backbone telecommunications provider like Level3 would decide to take the fall for ZOS though...
Sorry, but your lack of understanding of how the internet works doesn't make this ZOS's fault.

So much for the "different" servers..

Hm, so the armour just degrades in the air while you wear it... I'd be complaining to the crafter who made it...

If it's not ZoS's fault, then who's fault is it...?
Thanks Obama!

Hire someone to come to your house to perform a service. They don't show up because the freeway was jammed with traffic. Do you still pay them? After all, it wasn't their fault.UltimaJoe777 wrote: »RAGUNAnoOne wrote: »I do wish there would be some small form of compensation for inconvenience like say 50 crowns for every 45 mins the servers are offline...couldn't resist but that much would buy me that fox

I'm not slagging Zenimax, and I doubt it was their fault, but there is no logic to your statement.
Oh look! The servers are crashing, and or having login issues yet again. This time, it isn't just on PlayStation 4 that is getting the majority of the force. Surprise, surprise.
