what you can tab target? ha ha I use tab key as my ts PTT binding.
Working as intended, results of skilled play are artificially skewed to more resemble unskilled play. Derp.Yeah I'm noticing more and more hitting the wrong target in IC as well using the new Tab system.
To me this is one of those changes you find that are aesthetically appealing but fuctionally unworkable.

What i would like is to keep the new visuals, but also bring back the old 'bracket' system on top of it. Both have their merits - the new outline allows you to see what the target is doing while out of LOS, while the bracket is better for keeping track of your target in a crowded scenario (especially if you have expert hunter slotted and the room is full of daedra...)
The new tab target really sucks, visually its great but design its horrible you cannot focus, some would say its better but honestly... You can abuse alot with it, I stood inside my engine guadian proc and nobody could hit me since guardian was in the way, please bring old tab target mechanics back but keep visual.
But what does everyone think? Tell me what you like or hate about it.

actually i do not see the problem it works the same way as in 1.6 only the "outer box" animation wich isnt indicating the target area at all in 1.6 nor now has been changed.
you can still tab-target your enemy aim roughly in its direction without accidently aiming a target(red glow around it) passing through your LOS as you could in 1.6 and still hit your tab-target.
but i would actually like the 1.5 mechanic back as with 1.6 the line of fire mechanic has been added screwing your tab-targeting if sth walks through your attack line in that moment...

On PTS I consistently hit anything getting between me and my target.
