You and the Nirn again. What is so difficult about the differences for you to grasp?
On one hand you have a player using an armor trait that does what it was designed to do and was admittedly over tweaked to be too powerful. Let's even make a stretch and say it is bugged despite being pointed out that this isn't the case by the devs. Ok. Using Nirnhoned is no different than using Dawnbreaker of Smiting, or Damage shields since all of them are benefiting from bugs right now that make them more powerful than they are intended.
On the other hand you have a player that is benefiting from buffs that were designed to be either set bonuses or cost abilities slots without actually spending those ability slots or sets by purposefully breaking game mechanics (no need for details). He gets these benefits while sacrificing absolutely nothing.
The continue to lump these two together either shows extreme bias on your part for one reason or another or extreme stupidity. I'll let you decided which because I'm on the fence at this point.

Just go to traits and nirnhoned. This was the original change. The patchnotes clearly indicate that they though nirn was working like reinforced for armor pieces (people complained bc it was and was worthless compared to reinforced). Nothing in the patchnotes leads to indicate the developers were aware it was modifying all of the characters resistance not only the armor piece. So yeah there you have it. I consider nirn a bug to this day (or the dumbest oversight in the history of oversights in eso - maybe after the lighting patch).
Abusing an overpowered (for some builds gamebreaking) mechanic the developer is too lazy to fix is nothing better or worse than abusing a not gamebreaking bug for me. Maybe it´s bias maybe i´m stupid. Up to you to decide.Edited by Derra on August 25, 2015 9:27PM<Noricum>

That was the exact argument I gave back in the day too and I agree with you. I even posted that same thing to Huntlar and Xsorus when they kept reiterating it wasn't a bug. Then either Jessica or Gina came in and supported one of them and said no, it is not a bug, it is working as intended but is too strong. That's when I just gave up that line of thought and rolled with it.
So I see your point and agree with it, but I'm going to take ZoS's official stance on the matter and bug or not the point I made above still stands. First of all, the 10+ guildies are the DC ones who collectively left recently. And my 'reputation' has never mattered to me, I've allowed people like fluffy to bash me in gchat countless of times before, or people similar like him. Never took it to heart, never will. Still don't, but you're talking about our guild now, so:
2nd of all, Arena has more members than ever before, care to join back and see for yourself?
3rd, we have more people having fun at duel spot than EVER before. There are no more problematic people or exploiters who will mess things up for people who DO want to have fun.
4th, YOU were a useless officer and I don't know why I ever agreed to make you one, you literally never did anything good for the guild, except talk smack like now without even having a clue what you're talking about.
5th. You have absolutely no clue who I am, what I do and why I behave like I do. I'm not tolerating *** and never will. I don't use exploits and never will. I never used any sorc bugs in any of my videos, and the last few clips I have recorded with DB of smiting are the last ones I'm gonna post these days because I'm switching back to other stuff that's considered 'white-hat', regardless of whether it's a good decision or not. And you will see that in the videos.
6th, If I ever made ANY mistakes (remember, I consult with people before I do anything, I never did anything without TALKING with other people about it first) I am truly sorry about it. Man enough for you now Sublime?

I don't normally type anything of substance in these threads (I just crack some jokes like the one above), but I'm really dismayed at what's happening here. It has degenerated to nothing more than petty name calling from both sides now
If sense can't prevail, if bridges are burned and can't be repaired then at least let it stop here and save whatever is left of this fractured dueling community.

So I've been living alone and paying for my own stuff (basically 'working') since I was 18, almost 25 now (less than a week to go, 1st September) and I have a place on my own name. I've been playing this game for a long time now and if you're invested into something significantly (let's say a hobby) and you can also profit off of it, then why not do it?
There's nothing better than having a hobby that can also pay you every now and then, lots of players do that all the time. You got a problem with all those people streaming and accepting donations too? Maybe you just have a problem with yourself being a simple plain nobody who's unable to do any of that on his/her own.
