Alright, excuse me but I gotta clear up this 'Arena and LM's reputation is dying' BS.

First of all, the 10+ guildies are the DC ones who collectively left recently. And my 'reputation' has never mattered to me, I've allowed people like fluffy to bash me in gchat countless of times before, or people similar like him. Never took it to heart, never will. Still don't, but you're talking about our guild now, so:

2nd of all, Arena has more members than ever before, care to join back and see for yourself?

3rd, we have more people having fun at duel spot than EVER before. There are no more problematic people or exploiters who will mess things up for people who DO want to have fun.

4th, YOU were a useless officer and I don't know why I ever agreed to make you one, you literally never did anything good for the guild, except talk smack like now without even having a clue what you're talking about.

5th. You have absolutely no clue who I am, what I do and why I behave like I do. I'm not tolerating *** and never will. I don't use exploits and never will. I never used any sorc bugs in any of my videos, and the last few clips I have recorded with DB of smiting are the last ones I'm gonna post these days because I'm switching back to other stuff that's considered 'white-hat', regardless of whether it's a good decision or not. And you will see that in the videos.

1. Fair enough, thanks for clarifying that. However I know of several AD members who have also left - so again I think you're either not seeing the truth or you are choosing to ignore it.

2. Arena has always had ~500 members. Granted some of those were inactive, but it's not a hard guild to fill. You are currently riding on the reputation it has developed in 18 months of the game. I hope you can maintain it, but based on your performance recently I am not holding out much hope. I

3. Glad to hear it. I'd be having fun too if only average or subpar members were left. From what I can see, a vast majority of the decent players left for Misericorde.

4. I was wondering how long it would take to get to personal insults. You can say what you want about my officership, it's entirely irrelevant. Although FYI, I was more vocal about people breaking rules in guild chat than any other officer and took the time to write things about duel etiquette etc. Admittedly I didn't go to duels as often as I should have, but I intend to rectify this in the new duelling guild alongside players who are looking to make that guild a good place as opposed to the egotistical Mage circlejerk you are creating with Arena.

6. Well then I am still waiting for the apology on the fact you took the Guild ownership over from @MagicaDeHex claiming you want to create a website for arena and start promoting it. We were in turn presented with www.legendarymage.com which had several pages asking for donations, a shop selling Legendary Mage t-shirts, videos on your youtube channel and an "Arena" tab that didn't even have anything about Arena on it.

When you launched that website people pointed stuff out to you and you didn't correct it until the shit really hit the fan, so I don't believe for one second you are sorry about your mistakes.

Op might not be the most mature person ever, but he has certainly been one of the best players eu had to offer, at all stages of the game.

To be honest, as far as I remember, he even started with sorc back in the days before switching to dk when realising sorc would always be supporting the allmighty dk (old negate). He was known as a top player with builds not less or more unique than others (eso is a bit limited in that regard, if you want to shine) way before I ever recognized others who seem to have put great efforts in selfpromotion recently.

Coming from someone who left arena ages ago because of the annoyance op amongst others can be, no offense.

Last time I'll try and 'explain' myself to some people who are clearly having some mental issues...

@lastobeth has no clue what has really happened. We had a discussion about arena's forums and me and some other people agreed that it might be a good idea to make them on my own site since it's more promoted and it gets steady traffic every day, and the last forums I did with Hex over at arenaguild.com (which I paid for btw @lastobeth) (I confused you again

) died.

Then when some other vocal people complained about the address, we decided to use the old one again and just use a hardcoded link on my site to promote it instead, we talked and found a nice solution.

But... It was too late for those guildies and closed-circles who decided it's time to protest and leave, without even having a CLUE what's going on behind the scenes. Now, I'm a grown up man and I'll take all your imaginatory blame for trying to help YOU have a good time with other people.

Also, I've invited hundreds of people to Arena. People like @lastobeth seem to think that I somehow want to promote 'myself' with people (well a lot of them) I ALREADY INVITED to the guild?

You really have some issues to work out @Garion, apart from poor manners.

But anyway, ironically, since you 'protesters' have left we've seen nothing but improvements in both gchat, member list and duels as well.

Oh and sorry I always confuse you with Sublime, can never remember who's who. Really sorry about it, it was totally unintentional.

I only criticized his use of exploits as I've done in *every* single sorc 1vX video who has exploited so far. I could care less if he or anyone else is better than me....I avoided petty dueling guilds to avoid just that sort of drama. My videos are always 100% for entertainment purposes only. If start going off on how "I'm the best" please just shoot me because that's an absurd notion in itself and I've never insinuated anything of that nature.

The build he is using itself is unoriginal(he definitely didn't create it) but that's only because it's the most powerful build in the game right now so I can't fault anyone for using it. As far as his skilled I said I'm sure he's skilled but is he as effective without the exploits as he is with them?

In 2.1 I'd love to watch his videos and if he is still able to represent, I'll be the first one to praise them. You guys keep calling me salty but it's pretty evident for anyone other than his nut-hugger fan/friend base that's just not the case.

I have yet to see a sorc vid with the same kind of setup as fluff (no dwemer, harness and hardened both on dps bar, active use of volcanic rune+mine from his overload bar...)
A sorc destro restro is fotm but a nightblade spamming wrecking blow isnt.... yeah okay...

I couldn't watch the video all the way through, just the first half so if he was using different buildouts later on then great. I saw the Holy Trinity of Shields, Crushing Shock, Streak, Dawnbreaker of Smiting, Crit-Surge, Mages Wrath and Crystal Frags.

I don't think Dwemer is a requirement for the Sorc meta, just a common gear buildout used by many of the carebear sorcs who decided to come show how awesome they are in Cyrodiil.

A NB with Wrecking Blow is actually from what I'm told a poor choice (for reasons I don't understand). The "FOTM" nightblade build you are looking for would be Ambush/Surprise attack spam or Heavyattack/Suprise attack from Stealth.

Is this serious? Someone sent you a message, and you post it on the forums? Are you in Middle School or something? I dont think i know either of you but this is pretty bad taste. Very low chance of mods not just locking this thread due to this poor choice

That's exactly why I made the Xbox comment. The maturity level of these guys is on a level I haven't seen since the Spider Man thread that saw 2-3 good players banned on the forums.

Kind of the people pointing out that damning exploit while defending nirn with the same breath is kinda bigot to begin with.

Edit: Exploiting is bad. I can still respect players doing it playing with or against me. It would be a sad and lonely gametime if i´d be to judge everything not matching my own pov unworthy.

You and the Nirn again. What is so difficult about the differences for you to grasp?

On one hand you have a player using an armor trait that does what it was designed to do and was admittedly over tweaked to be too powerful. Let's even make a stretch and say it is bugged despite being pointed out that this isn't the case by the devs. Ok. Using Nirnhoned is no different than using Dawnbreaker of Smiting, or Damage shields since all of them are benefiting from bugs right now that make them more powerful than they are intended.

On the other hand you have a player that is benefiting from buffs that were designed to be either set bonuses or cost abilities slots without actually spending those ability slots or sets by purposefully breaking game mechanics (no need for details). He gets these benefits while sacrificing absolutely nothing.

The continue to lump these two together either shows extreme bias on your part for one reason or another or extreme stupidity. I'll let you decided which because I'm on the fence at this point.

You can try and paint it all as much as you want. I will give you a brief follow-up of what's happened since you 'protesters' have left:

2) The VERY NEXT day we had more members than before. So no, Arena is not dying, it's prospering ever since you guys left.

3) TODAY we had duels lasting for many hours. I logged at 1pm, people were dueling. I came to the spot at 2-3pm and there were looooots of people there. I asked at about 5-6pm 'are people still dueling?' and the answer was yes. I wouldn't be surprised if they're STILL dueling. This has never happened before, or I can't remember simply.

4) Arena is changing into a guild it was originally imagined as. A dueling guild. Just because a group of decent 10-15 players have left, doesn't mean anything. You have fun with fluffy, I'm pretty sure he'll be a great gm, wondering why no one in Arena ever wanted to make him an officer

5) You can bash me as much as you want, it doesn't change a thing. I'm putting closure to this, and whoever wishes to come back is welcome to come back provided that the toxicity is not there. LegendaryMage is not someone who needs to 'promote' himself, LegendaryMage is someone who has promoted Arena more than most of you put together. Remember that next time you try and bash me...

Now bye for real, you got way more than you deserve from me.

This thread is full of so much drama it exceeds high school. Go take it elsewhere, perhaps in whispers amongst each other. The forums is supposed to be a place where players can talk amongst themselves about the game, yes, but this is just ridiculous.
