Developer Badge?

What does it take to earn the developer badge? I've posted a number of times & a few have had someone at ZOS comment/respond/reply but I still don't have this badge?

Plebs like us can't earn those. It's a flag/indexing value that allows staff posts to populate the "Dev Tracker". It is how moderator notes (we have moved/closed this thread, etc.) get the big Z icon, but don't get flagged as dev posts.

Why do we even see the value/badge if it's not something we can earn??? How about change the permissions on the site so that only those who it matters to can see it?

about that, What good are the badges I mean can we do something with them like redeem them for in-game rubbish or are they just bragging rights?

Just another thing to waste your time on.

I ran out of possible badges, meaning i have to wait for my 3rd anniversary to get to 40 badges.

Was that the badge for getting upvoted by developers? I mean, back before they took out LOL, there was a fifth tracker for dev +1ed posts. As far as I know, none of the staff gave those out after the betas. But, that's all I can think of.
