It's funny that they still think that adding another incentive to the oh so interactive full heavy attacks, will convince more people to use the least dynamic and most painful to watch feature in the game.
At this point it's just the obligatory incentive to use more fully charged heavy attacks that comes with every update now.
Gawd, I thought I might've been the only one that hated using heavy attacks and found them less fun
Its an indirect and sneaky way to combat lag. If youre holding down the mindless heavy attack bootaan, it's all client side eye candy for several seconds. Performance is increased at the cost of user experience, which should only be done as a last resort.
As one of the first players in the game using Archmage/Seducer combo who used it from then up until now I would still drop it in favor of other sets unless they released it in a V16 version (which I think it will only go to V15).
I'm not really sure why they nerfed ArchMage. Even if it could be acquired in v16 people would drop it. As people accrue more and more CPs, regen and cost reduction become less important. All will be traded to maximize weapon or spell damage (and stats) over the next few months. Those w/ 400+ CPs should already be doing this.
As a side note: I think the new Willow's Path is now officially better than Seducer.

What did they change willows path to?
Archmage v16 comes from rewards for the worthy @Ezareth they changed rftw to be v16 (or atleast said they did it).
Willows path is now on par with seducer depending on where you want to go with your build. Personally i´d use seducer but don´t plan to use any reg set with 2.1 since there is simply no need for heavy regeneration anymore. DMG on the other hand...
Was there any statement on why they buffed high elf regen and then took it away? So much indecisiveness from the devs. They should have TERABYTES of data on regen, popularity of item sets-skills-enchants-traits-mundus stones... Kill death ratios for each class etc etc etc! Why in the world would you nerf arch mage?
