The high numbers of people squished into the IC areas will freeze the game up (red ping) if the causes on live persist in 1.7. How many of you think you'll keep playing if that's the case.
Just wanting to get a feel for how many people like or don't care about playing in lag versus how many are getting sick of it.

Miwerton✭✭✭Only fuctionable thing to do, would to have seperate servers for the pvp campaings, and the megaserver for the pve.

Seriously though, I gave up on PvP way back in January. For something that was intended to be THE end-game content in ESO, the lag, bugs, exploits and lack of balance simply made it no fun at all for me.6 -

Somethings you can test, but other facets of the game are obviously not going to the same as on live.

✭If the lags isn't fixed or gets worse with IC, I will be done until new PVE Content comes out. I've got better things to do with my time than hope that the night I am playing will have little lag issues. It's an EVERY DAY occurence now and needs to be fixed asap.
There's no point in trying to play a game only to be frustrated because of lag/exploits. There are other games out there that can deliver a smoother experience.
There's also no point in going into another Campaign either. When a guild moves, eventually others do as well lagging the server. If they can't fix the lag in Azura, they can't in any other campaign and it's only a matter of time before it's equally laggy.NA Server - Kildair1 -

I HAVE had lag outside it when i was testing stuff with ALOT of players.
Which means maybe it will lag inside? Honestly its impossible to know until launch0 -

Here is the thing, the IPC acess should be gated and tied to EMP, whoever controls the ring keeps gets access to the city.
The current let everyone in renders the rest of cyrodiil pointless, everyone will just cram into the ipc and the lag will ensue.

✭✭Non-pop locked servers are not competitive. The best players in the game want to play with and against each other, but all the pugs just join the campaigns that they create action in.
I wonder what would happen if ZoS limited access to certain campaigns based on average AP gains per time period...0 -

✭✭I have much less lag in PvP on the live servers than was the case in the past. Has anyone run into the 'nobody dies' type of lag recently on Azura? I usually start towards the end of prime time, not sure if that's a factor.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Remember that unlike cyrodiil which is one huge zone (and thus a lag event at castle black boot will lag people at fort warden), imperial city is 16(IIRC) separate zones that do not affect each other. So even if one lags, the others will be fine. And since the total population cap is shared across all zones, the chance of a lag even happening in the firstplace is lower(people are spread out). That's in addition to the AOE line of sight check changes ZOS implemented to reduce lag. So i have a pretty good feeling about IC lag-wise.

This^^^ Only thing that will get ZoS attention. I will take my $30 a month else where since the plus membership is so lack luster and they have failed to provide anything worth spending crowns on and with the past issues ZoS has repeatedly failed to fix I don't see how IC will be any different. No reason to spend crowns on failed content and inexplicable nerfs. I hope at least Orsinium will be better and provide a reason to subscribe again.
