From what I've seen, these style motifs will have 14 chapters to them just like Dwemer, Xivkyn, and Glass. Apparently the complete motif will also be available in the crown store. I'm still digging around. If I find anything else interesting, I'll post it. Enjoy.

I mined all of these on the PTS. The item codes for these don't exist yet on the live server.
Yes, I know. Did you not see all the data-mined posts a couple of weeks ago with these motifs too? I'm guessing not, which is of course perfectly fine. I wish I could find the links now. There was a link to a Russian(?) page in particular if I'm remembering rightly that had a lot of information, including some visuals of the armours etc etc.Akavir_Sentinel wrote: »Rev Rielle wrote: »*nods* Yes, the Yokudan style was known. Well this is what you get with a game that relies on in-game purchases to survive. Anything of any value will get chopped up into as many monetized pieces as possible so it can then be sold piecemeal in the stupid shop instead of just a book that you find in-game (like when the game launched).
I wouldn't even have much of a problem with the system of chapters if it was not monetized because at least then it would contribute to the in-game economy in a positive way by making the motif knowledge rare and giving people who focus on crafting something to work towards and offer for sale but having the "buy it now" option of the shop subverts the in-game economy so as is typical with cash shops..it sucks.

I farmed or traded people for all the dwemer chapters as well. What's your point?

Rev Rielle wrote: »I personally don't mind the motifs being available in the Crown Store. To me it's a fairly perfect example of an item that could be placed there, that has little impact to others in-game. Of course, no item has truly no impact on others in-game, as was highlighted by it's availability there increasing supply of the motifs, and hence reducing the in-game gold worth of the pages found more traditionally. But they have to make money or none of us will have a game to play.
I'm just worried that the 'grind', for lack of a better term, for the components to craft these new styles, such as the ferrous sand and scales, will be highly significant. However in saying that, if so, that will be where the economy truly lies in relation to the motifs and players making gold, so I suppose there's always an upside.

That sounds like an interesting potion, the latter.Akavir_Sentinel wrote: »Found a couple more things. Morph Respec Potion and some other very interesting potions, such as Panacea Of Assassin.

I'm still hunting for more items and pics or icons for them. It takes a while. For those who know how to do this, these items are in the 64000 to 70000 range.

I get what's going on there. With players now buying the rare motifs on the crown store, they're in for a vicious wakeup call when they learn they can't actually craft the style without materials that are way beyond their resources. I mean, it's bad enough when someone grabs a Daedric motif. But when it's Dwemer? There's actually a thread on that elsewhere.
So, this change is so they can also sell the style stones along with the books. So you buy one of these motifs and you can craft it, even if you can't go out and dig up the materials yourself.
Also, I'm not certain, but I think the Yokudan style already exists on live. It's the motif for the trial armor sets, IIRC. Either that or the way of element sets. I can't remember which off hand.
