It's the fact they allowed people with max characters with 200+ cp each, with knowledge of exploits + glitches to transfer all of this onto console so us new players get absolutely wrecked by them.
I just found out apparently you can glitch into chalmen as i turned round and 7-10 vet 14's just rekt me.
You don't know that people got to VR14 on consoles with 200CP in a few weeks, right? Transfers aren't the problem.
I have a v14 and a v5 and i have 100 cp, doubt someone on console has 200 cp already, unless they have literally farmed since release.
Even then the average player on pc will always have more cp than the average player on console.
Post right after yours:gjmgamesub17_ESO wrote: »I love how people are saying pc transfers still have the advantage lol.
I'm not a transfer and I'm vr14 with 100 CP. And I'm lazy compared to my guildies and friends, a couple have 2 vr14 characters and almost 200 CP now as well. And that's not really even out of the ordinary.
The pc transfer excuse for your lack of skill is no longer valid.
What were you saying?

We have glitching through gate to get elder scroll.
Glitching into keeps.
Making alts in other factions just to mess up their attacks.
Such a great idea it was allowing them to come over with their 200+ cp maxed characters.

Just pointing out obvious exploits/glitches, is there a problem?

Supposedly a creature exists out there that has gotten over 1k. It's possible that creature is in fact a real person and not just a highly sophisticated bot in Craglorn using lethal arrow across a stream.

Of, course I am an egotist like that.
EDIT: 1.6 actually shook up a lot of stuff. It completely tanked a lot of existing build assumptions, did away with soft caps, altered gear scaling (I remember when my VR8 only had 2k health), and added the Champion system wholesale.

Pretty sure i hit him with about 10 curses when i was chasing him!
Can't blame PC transfers. Blame ZOS for making such a stupid decison to allow PC players to transfer and give them a full year head start on every competitive aspect of this game. But as you can already tell, ZOS makes some really dumb decisions.

No, your point really doesn't. If you can't do something as simple as adding two numbers together, nevermind that they have absolutely no relation to anything, how can you be expected to provide anything of value to the discussion.
Casual gamers did not transfer to the consoles with 300cp. Hardcore grinder that started on the consoles did not do the quests from 1-50, they started with grinding, and just because you didn't twig to the idea until someone pointed you at Wayrest's sewers last week doesn't mean that you could speak for anyone, much less everyone.
As others have pointed out, homegrown grinders on the consoles are already well over the 300cp mark, which means, again, you don't know what you're talking about.
At this point, I'm not entirely convinced you even play the game. I'm marginally convinced you don't actually have a vet character, and haven't even seen the CP system first hand to understand how minuscule the upgrades are.
And yet, here we are, with you crying about how you can't go 1v10 without having to work for it, because you think curse works on someone who's using mistform (it doesn't.)
But, then again, you also think that ultimates scale with crit modifiers, so I'm not even going to guess at what systems you actually do or don't understand.

Yes PC transfers were a HORRIBLE idea. Most of them will leave after a few months of instagibing and trolling the "New players"
Sadly what ZOS did not think of was the impact it will have to the longevity of the console player base. My friends list of ESO players could not wait till this came out we gamed together on NWinter, RIFT,WOW, and a few other MMO's drooling for the day for ESO.
Most of them got on the same day the servers went live. About 45 people on this list...
Do you know how many of them are still playing?......................... SIX
When asked why they left most say the transfers killed the economy and the CP system is "Just not for them" Most of them knew going in about the transfers and the CP system, but we all thought "We could overcome and deal with it" Nope if you are not rolling vet14 with 700CP you are never going to overcome the gap as it will widen day by day.
I think the grind killed off most of them though. I dunno it is just sad to see these people leave the game most of them were over 25ish and really nice people.

I'm guessing the fact this was a thing also helped towards that fact:
Nothing like having some maxed level pc xfer kill half of your faction on your first experience of pvp...
even sypher said it shouldn't of happened.
FireCowCommando wrote: »Sypher wins that fight because of the large number of hours spent understanding his class, build, gearing up, and time spent already running said build.
He said that on a video that is very old, The console players who DID grind to catch up are no different then those who transferred at this point.
When the CP system was introduced, on March 9, 2015, if you had a v14 you got 70 CP for free.
Three months later with Console launch, June 9, 2015, SOME of the players who transferred had 200+. Most who transferred did not.
Thats not even 2 CP per day, with one of those being enlightened. I am fairly confident you have more interest in the game to earn CP at a better rate. That video is a pretty good representation of how PvP was a long time ago, I'm not sure how it is on Xbox, but i dont encounter 60% of my enemies in the level 10-15 range.
starkerealm wrote: »leepalmer95 wrote: »As you seem so intent on defending pc transers on a console you know NOTHING about, led me educate you.
Based on your grasp of fundamental arithmetic, I'm not sure you can educate anyone on anything. And no, I'm not talking about your belief that 90+12=112. I'm talking about your inability to understand how the CPs function, what they provide, how you obtain them, and how many you get.leepalmer95 wrote: »When people mist form it's hard to target them, so i put curse on him everytime he came out of it, it wouldn't do much dmg but it was in preparation for when he ran out of magicka.
So your cunning plan was to waste resources in the hope that your opponent would spontaneously run out... yeah, that's not how PvP works. And if you're getting regularly smeared across the walls for that kind of play, I can say you honestly deserve it.leepalmer95 wrote: »Please direct me to the post were someone says console grinders have 300 cp.You don't know that people got to VR14 on consoles with 200CP in a few weeks, right? I'll stop comparing them, when you stop confusing the two.
Casual players are coming in here and telling you, "hey, I've got 50" or "hey, I've got 100" but you just keep ignoring them because it distracts from your dream world where you have something legitimate to cry about.leepalmer95 wrote: »Your so intent on pointing out the top grinders of console have about the same cp as casual xfers... it's not helping with whatever your trying to prove.
I'm trying to explain why everything you're saying is wrong. You're making it easy, because most of what you're saying is the incoherent ramblings of someone throwing a tantrum. All I see from your posts is, "the big kids beat me up, it's not fair." When, no, wait for it, you were the one chasing people down, and killing them.leepalmer95 wrote: »I have a v14, a v5 and a v1. "Ground." If you're insisting on this being an educational experience, then let's start here. The past tense of "grind" is "ground." Not "grinded." "Grinded" is not a word. The part where your spellchecker threw a squiggly red line under it was probably a hint.
Also, this may surprise you, but I write for a living. These posts don't actually take long, because you're not presenting anything challenging to refute.
And yes, I am more casual than you are. I have more non-vets than you do, by the look of things. Which should tell you, you're not a casual player.leepalmer95 wrote: »How would you know how many cp casual gamers had when they xfer, you never xfered, your haven't played the game much with only 70 cp after 4 months, thats less than half a enlightened cp a day, 50k exp a day... so you obviously don't play much.
Because I actually have gained CP through normal means. Because I play when I have time. When I'm not doing something else. No, it's coming from the guy who did the testing before 1.6, and hadn't bothered to see how that system had been altered.leepalmer95 wrote: »Wayrest sewers is good for 3-50 but thats it, there are better places to grind with better loot and gold when you hit vet. Well, that's all irrelevant. Started reading it, didn't bother to finish. Not worth the time.
How I play the game is doesn't matter. Much like most of stuff you've been posting it's a bland distraction. Pretending you have a point, while using it as a justification to throw a tantrum about all those people you murdered. Yeah, that... doesn't really sound right, when you say it like that.
You go into a place, kill a bunch of players, and then complain about how it was too hard, because they were all PC transfers. Except, you won. So, you thought, what? You shouldn't be challenged at all? I mean, you're the one trying to use curse on someone under mistform. So... your grasp of the mechanics is transient at best. And if I'm reading their posts right, the "exploit" the used was to go through the wall while it was down and then stay out of sight. I mean, it's not like they were guesting in from another campaign. So you're complaining because your win wasn't easy enough?
You don't understand the game. You don't understand the players. You don't understand your own class abilities. Yeah, honestly, I don't think veteran players are your problem. I think you do just need to learn how to play before you come in here with your sob story about how awesome you think you are.
starkerealm wrote: »FireCowCommando wrote: »Sypher wins that fight because of the large number of hours spent understanding his class, build, gearing up, and time spent already running said build.

Man, the CR introduction screwed me hard. I had a V10 or 11, got about 50 CP, and was almost out of quests to do. So then I started running up alts. Which dosn't generate CP. I've still only got two vets. Though all but two of my bank alts are in their 30s. So...
And no matter how badly Leland Palmer cries about grinding, I'm not going to just sit in Spellscar for an hour a day until my brain melts and flows out my ears. Or Cracked Wood Cave, for that matter.
