Unarmed Combat and The Monk!

@zos_RIchLambert I am curious, since you are the new creative director, if you have ever given any thought to this. It is a highly requested feature that many of my friends (and not just my friends, other people as well) would love to see come to ESO. Most my friends bought eso then quickly quit, literally day 1, when they seen they could not make a hand to hand character.
I would love to be able to make a monk style character (i know monks use other things besides just fist) who uses his fist and grants himself elemental damage through magicka or a stamina monk who can attack silly fast because of his stamina pool. Any thoughts on this @ZOS_RichLambert ?
EDIT: For clarification I am talking about a unarmed skill line NOT a new class.... the monk was just an example of a style of play that would be really fun!!

Explain, cuz that sounds slightly confusing....... Unarmed would be treated like dual wield or staffs etc etc

no no....I said a unarmed SKILL LINE.... a monk was just a style of play....... i.e. I would create a monk type character.... not a new class, just the skill line for NOT using weapons0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Unarmed skill line is something I would want to see in ESO...
...however...
...not as comparable in effect to weapon skill lines. I'd love to see it as doing say, half the damage of any weapon (and that'd be With brass knuckles/cesti/punch daggers), but have skills useful even against armored opponents with lots of CC (leg sweep for a knockdown, handful of dirt in the eyes for a blind, kick below the belt for a stun, that sort of stuff...).
You may notice that historically even the best trained martial artists preferred to arm themselves when facing armed opponents... there ought to be a reason for that...
And completely empty handed... unarmed should be useful for bar brawls, not doing enough damage to kill anyone, but having increased chances of a "knockout" as health drops oh so slowly... with a 100% knockout at 50% HP, and such attacks should thus never count as murder attempts... (would also be useful for subduing pickpocket failure aggros, though you'd still get the initial bounty for the pickpocket)

Not that I know of. Wouldn't mind tho, I can see it would be esp cool for Khajiit.
I'd also like to see Polearms/Spears.

You're not going to punch through anyone's armor realistically even if it's cloth as they are cutting, casting or beating you to death.
Maybe fist weapons can be introduced but these would fall under dual wield or one hand-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf
