Like all other TES games, you're stuck with your choice. At least ESO has polygamy options. Take off the ring, buy a new pledge of Mara from the crown store, marry somebody else.

Yes. I rushed into marrying a player who likes Cyrodiil and is already v.6. I'm v.2 and just enjoying questing. We are opposite players and now I'm going to start college classes, while he plays everyday - like all day. I get more bonus from my Exploration EXP+ armor traits than playing married.

I know someone who has gotten married in ESO like 3 times, so I think it's basically already possible. Just destroy the existing ring of mara that you have, get a new scroll or whatever from the crown store and do it again. That's what I was told.
