What do Ardent Flame passives affect?

1) Kindling: Increases the damage of flame abilities' burning effect by 33/66%.
I read that in addition to Ardent Flame DoTs, it also affects Burning DoT from Flame enchantment and Destruction Staff abilities (not the base damage, right?). Does it also affect any of the following?
  • Fire Siege - ballista, trebuchet, oil
  • Scalding Rune
  • Burning Talons
  • Inhale - the drain does Magic damage, but the explosion does Flame damage and appears to apply Burning
  • Magma Armor - it does Flame damage, but technically not a DoT on the target, and I'm not sure whether it can apply Burning

Currently I don't use any Ardent Flame abilities, Scalding Rune or Flame enchantment, and still sometimes see Burning DoT, so I guess it must come from Inhale and/or Magma Armor.

2) World in Flame: Increases the damage of flame-based area of effect abilities by 3/6%.
Do any/all of the above qualify as flame-based AoE?

Actually a good question. I'm sure this passive is refering to THE elemental burn effect. Things like scalding rune and talons are static fire damage DoTs, just like the fire DoT of Destructive touch. I would assume, this passive does not affect those.
Would be quite OP combined with destructive touch.

I could test this for you if you want a safe answer. But I assume it does not affect other things than real DoT proc effects

World in flames should affect any fire AoE.

What about scorched earth and Da Bomb (Meteor)?

By the way, Stamina skills are affected for the Dunmer Flame Talent passive? I tested it some time ago and it seems the passive does nothing.

Why should the Dunmer passive affect stamina abilities in any way ?

Both, Scorching flame (I suppose you mean the morph of revealing flare) and the DoT are also fixed DoTs and no real burn effects. Burn effect is when you attack an enemy with force shock and the burn affect applies, that's a real fire effect and is affected by this passive. Also all Dragonknight flame abilities can trigger those DoTs.

Thanks for the input, @Dracane is right. Kindling affects the Burning effect. Not regular ability DoTs.

I've done some tests on a pack of Wolves on the PTS, and was able to get a Burning proc from Burning Talons, Inhale, Magma Armor, Fire Ballista. Not from Volatile Armor. Didn't test Scalding Rune.

As for World in Flame, I got these results with rank I:
    • doesn't affect Burning Talons -- neither the instant damage, nor the DoT
    • doesn't affect Volatile Armor -- as expected, it's Magic/Physical on Live and Magic/Magic on PTS
    • affects Inhale Explosion -- not the initial health drain, only the exhale damage
    • affects Magma Armor -- was a surprise for me
    • probably doesn't affect Fire Ballista -- I haven't seen it do AoE damage, only separate DoTs
