1) Kindling: Increases the damage of flame abilities' burning effect by 33/66%.
I read that in addition to Ardent Flame DoTs, it also affects Burning DoT from Flame enchantment and Destruction Staff abilities (not the base damage, right?). Does it also affect any of the following?
- Fire Siege - ballista, trebuchet, oil
- Scalding Rune
- Burning Talons
- Inhale - the drain does Magic damage, but the explosion does Flame damage and appears to apply Burning
- Magma Armor - it does Flame damage, but technically not a DoT on the target, and I'm not sure whether it can apply Burning
Currently I don't use any Ardent Flame abilities, Scalding Rune or Flame enchantment, and still sometimes see Burning DoT, so I guess it must come from Inhale and/or Magma Armor.
2) World in Flame: Increases the damage of flame-based area of effect abilities by 3/6%.
Do any/all of the above qualify as flame-based AoE?
