Unfortunately, probably slim to none since bites are coming to the Crown Store.
Adding it to the crown store is disgusting. A better solution would be to make all vampire/werewolf mobs in the game able to infect with a very low chance. Never made sense to me that just those select packs could do it.
True google style: Did you mean "decrease spawn times of..."?
Won't necessarily help. The spawns may be camped nonetheless. I found that once you have one changeling, you can always make a "I bite you, you bite me"-trade. Most people have a couple chars or more on PC nowadays and since both are still in high demand, it doesn't take long to find someone to trade.
Took me 10 minutes yesterday on my fifth changeling.
I can very well see that point and I agree to it mostly. I would also prefer to be able to get the gift from its "natural" source with a little bit of time invested.CheeseDivinity wrote: »I guess my main issue is, these type of inflictions should not feel like "trading". I want to see them as quests or stumbling upon them in the wild like other Elder Scrolls games. It's a disease, not a simple item.True google style: Did you mean "decrease spawn times of..."?

There is no confirmation. It was datamined from the 2.1 game files. There have been several occasions, where the datamined stuff got changed prior to implementation or have not been implemented at all.PitchesBeTreble wrote: »Confirmation link of bites coming to crown store please? People that have paid for their bites are not going to be happy about this. I understand it sucks paying for a bite but the beauty of it is that only a Rare mob can give you the bites so it makes since to sell the bites for a reasonable price considering you can only sell them once a week to those too lazy to go to the spawns and become infected.

Also, paying for the bite with ingame gold or paying for the bite with RL money... wouldn't see where this would cause suckiness... both is similarly... bad.
You could be right there... I just assumed that those items were given to players in order to test vamp/wolf on their templates, especially since these bring you up to line rank 10 immediately.starkerealm wrote: »There is no confirmation. Also the bite items exist on the 1.7 build. You get them as part of your template packages. If they're intended for more than just testing purposes? I don't know.
But, I do know it fits within the whole "convenience item" better than the XP scrolls or something similar. You're paying money for something you can, fairly easily, hunt down and obtain yourself (either from another player or a wild spawn). Assuming they don't do anything to mess with the normal spawns as a result of this, I really don't have an issue with it. I won't be buying them, but, for the people that really, honestly, don't know how to go about getting bites, I can see the appeal. And I'm not about to say, "they don't deserve to have access to those systems."

If some players want the convenience of getting infected immediately and are willing to pay for it that's their choice. If other players want to wait for the moons and do the full experience that's their choice too.
It takes miniscule effort to search the web and learn how to become WW/vamp the "free" way, and little effort to actually get yourself infected. If someone gets "ripped off" buying a bite because they haven't put in any effort at all to learn how the process works, that's their choice too.

So that's true? I thought it was a joke..
I find getting bitten in the wild more exciting. Contracting the disease from a creature, not handing my credit card over to become a Vampire. But sure, I guess that works too.

If console players had chilled out and not just had to be twilight right off the bat creating a market for scamming/selling...your request would have had a better chance. Patience is a lost virtue.

@CheeseDivinity which server & faction are you guys on? I will be happy to bestowe the gift of hircine to your friend, should he prove worthy of my lord's attention.
starkerealm wrote: »Actually, there is. Well, clock might be overstating it a bit. But you do have an unerring compass. Look at where Masser is in the sky. That's the larger red moon. Now, look at your compass. Line up with true north. Is Masser to the west of true north? It's not midnight yet. To the east of true north? It's past midnight. The moon will line up right under your reticle and true north at precisely midnight.
