can anyone confirm what sorcerer neefs are coming with this update?
Ive been searching everywhere and I can't find any info on any sorcerer nerds on shields etc. I'm trying to change my build for this rumour but are they going to be critable and no shield stacking? Thanks for any info provided.

Several abilities which have damage, damage shield, or healing components that scale off each other will no longer be hit multiple times by Battle Spirit’s reductions. This includes the following abilities:
• Nightblade: Strife (and morphs), Soul Tether
• Templar: Puncturing Sweep, Blazing Shield, Radiant Glory
• Dragonknight: Inhale, Burning Embers
• Sorcerer: Surge
• Mages Guild: Degeneration
• Restoration Staff: Healing Ward
Daedric Summoning
• The Daedric Protection passive now grants 10/20% bonus stamina recovery in addition to its previous effects.
Increased the per-level armor value on light armor by 100%.
Sorcerer
• Storm Calling
o Boundless Storm (Lightning Form morph): Increased the duration of this ability to 23 seconds from 15 seconds at Rank IV. It retains the Major Expedition buff at the current maximum value of 7.5 seconds.
o Thunderous Presence (Lightning Form morph):
Decreased the duration of this ability to 15 seconds from 23 seconds at Rank IV.
Grants the Major Expedition buff for a maximum of 4 seconds at Rank IV.
It now deals 300% more damage during the first 4 seconds after activation.
Restoration Staff
• Healing Ward: Fixed an issue where this ability’s damage shield was not properly reduced by Battle Spirit.

Okay so I've found the notes on sorcerer nerfs. First of all, ball of lightning is the only one listed as 50% cost which stacks with each use within 4 seconds. So streak is not affected by this Nerf? Ball of lightning is what I use but now the decrease in ball time, its kind of useless on top of that its got a 50% cost that stacks. I guess I will be changing that if so.
As for sorcerer critable shields, is it being implemented in IC?0 -
Nvm bolt escape including the morphs are getting nerved. Looks like I'm scrapping my sorcerer and back to destiny. These changes have basically ruined sorcerers.0

i just laugh at people who thinks sorcerers are only viable due to bolt escape. I'm a sorcerer and this is a L2P issue. Buh bye petal!0 -

This is true. and often times it's one of our few offensive options against enemies that reflect projectiles.
And considering the fact that i actually enjoy using streak as an offensive ability that really takes alot of enjoyment out of the game for me.Invictus1 -

Then sacrifice some of your DPS for some survivability. That's what everyone else has to do. The fact that sorcs have been able to have maximum damage with maximum damage mitigation and mobility is ridiculous and there needs to be a trade off.1 -
Kronuxx✭✭✭✭You guys are fine. Try playing a DK...no definitive way to escape, and no definitive way for good damage mitigation through shields since we took the hardest hit from battle spirit. I play a sorcerer as well and I can tell you that after doing multiple PvP test runs on PTS, on my sorcerer, I consistently kill quicker and die less than compared to my DK.
In the end, stop complaining. You guys are better off than some other classes.0
