Ok. I was under the impression there was a cap on how many players you can have blocked

I read on the forums here on a thread about blocking that Blocking people only prevents them from sending messages but does not exclude them from any voice chat communication with you.

looks like the only way to shut them up is to change channels.

I was having a wonderful time blocking chatty imbeciles until I got a message that I could not block anymore.

Questions:

Is there a limit to the number of idiots you can block?
Do the blocked morons stay blocked?
Are they unblocked if you logout or change characters?
Is there a way to unblock once you block someone by mistake?
Are those you block also blocked when using your other characters?

I am on PS4. I assume the mechanics are the same on XB1.

there mite be a limit but like I point out the voice spamers are few and are not the majority, to this day I've only blocked 13 players.

Nah on Xbox1 we have a "Mute in chat" option so we don't have to listen to the 12ies

On the PS4 aswell, I'm not sure if there a PSN block limit, yes they stay blocked for eso and all games. no loging out will not change there block status, yes look up someones profile and unblock them, yes they are blocked for all your characters.

Yup, you have to go to their gamer card to mute them, and sometimes it doesnt work.

Loud or music players - first you must identify them, there are two ways of identifying players, 1- there names are on the screen with they are talking 2- they have a circle symbol over there heads, now that you got there name.

If you keep up with this you will see that the loud or music players are few and far between and that the majority of players are polite and helpful.

Oh yea I expect people to tell me if my mic is too loud or crap in guild, just as I tell others.

The worst is having something on the comical side erupt in guild chat and old mate with the full on headset blows your ears out.

Guild chat helps it's self with multi channels

this is a player voice chat issue that apply to both consoles, your favor towards the xbox has no relevant to this tread.

thanks for pointing me to the option to control other peoples voice volume, I always thought that was for your characters voice. Now people won't always blow out my eardrums unless they try to in which case they would be cursed out by anyone nearby.
