crytantrevors✭✭✭Eventually they will have to add text chat since its the most brought up topic... Either they ignore these forums completly or are just blatently ignoring people and the deaf community... It would be nice if they planned not to add it if they said so... I can live with a positive or negative response but completly ignoring your console community like this is unprofesional . Especialy since on the live streams this topic is brought up but they never acknowledge... Its quite insulting zos . If this wasnt elder scrolls basef i would of quit by now. And by their business model this will be my last zos product i purchase0 -

They are not ignoring it, they just have nothing new to say about it at this time. That's what it has been said on the twitch chat today during ESO live:
ZOS_Jessica_Folsom: For those asking about text chat on console, we do see all the requests for it (on our forums, social media channels, reddit, etc.), but we don't have anything new to share about the topic.2 -

But here is what I don't understand and if I am missing anything please tell me. When they say that they have nothing new to share, was the newest information they gave was that the game does not have text chat (before the game was released) or was there more promising information that they stated that they are in fact referring to?0 -
