Why am I in WEEK TWO into turning in my provisioning writ and it is not leveling up!? My character is now a VET 3 rank! Max provisioning, yet I am still turning in my Provisioning Writs to Davon's Watch only receiving 1k XP. It has been 2 weeks of doing the writs daily now. Please help!?

(Posting in here because no one ever answers in Crafting)

Put skill points into the passive that lets you make higher level recipes.

Yeah, happens to me too with one of my alts.

50 in Provisionning, 6/6 in Recipe Improvement, 2/4 Recipe Quality (which is the same or better than everyone of my other characters), 3/3 Chef and Gourmand, but she keep getting these lvl 40 writs once in a while. Got three in a row now, even if she is always in Belkarth. Used to get VR1 writs, but now, she seem that she can't do them anymore... lol

Only the amount of skill points invested into "Recipe Improvement" defines where you turn in the writs. That and whether you are veteran rank or not.

So, in order to turn in your recipes in Belkarth, you need to be VR1 (which you are) and have 6/6 Recipe Improvement. Bar any of the plethora of bugs, this should be enough.

NB: You only ever receive a few hundred XP from writs. The high number (displayed in green when turning it in) is inspiration, which is the crafting XP. Since you already have rank 50 in provisioning (if I understood you correctly), this is completely useless for you :)

Did you send a /bug ticket in-game for added exposure?

You will mostly only get Green recipes as a reward for doing the writs. Every once in a while you will also get a purple recipe for that level as well. The Level 6 writs also give you a small chance of receiving a frag towards the psijic ambrosia recipe.

Just because you do the writs, you are not guaranteed a blue or purple recipe. They are basically a time sink and a way for your toon to make a little bit of gold without having to do too much work.
Far too many characters to list any more.

Try having all skills in provisioning... (at least the recipe improvement and qualities) maxed..
But if your problem is related to the rewards, i should inform you those are random aside of course from the craft Exp (inspiration) and gold, but if you're max provisioning already that is useless, so yea, won't level up more than 50 (it' IS 'maxed')

The problem is that we're doing this for the Psijic ambrosia recipe (well, at least that's my case). One day, this character can get a rank VI writ and reward pack (which has higher chance to give you a recipe part), and the next, she will receive a rank IV writ (which has next to no chance to give you a psijic ambrosia recipe part).

Do they ever plan on raising the writ crafting recipes or will they always be the same 3-4 greens I've been making?

I was pretty dissapointed in the variety of writs as well.

I've literally spent hours and hours hunting down pickled carrot slurry recipes for each character.

Id like to be able to use the copious amounts of recipes I don't ever use.maybe it could increase rarity drop rates.

Why not just have the recipe known on one character who can make stacks of the recipe, then just put it in the bank to use on the writs for your alt characters?

My character has the master Provisioning achievement. Obviously max level 50. Keep getting the same 4 recipe requests over & over again. Must look at level tomorrow as I have no idea off the top if my head. All my deliveries go to Craglorn. No psijic ambrosia fragments. I'll keep trying.

My question is. Do all players craft only 4 recipes, repeating over a two day cycle?

And to add to the confusion, out of my 8 level 50 provisioning characters, the 4 (mules) that aren't VR rank get a LOT more purple recipes than my 4 main characters.

On my VRs almost all of my recipes are green ...

Its actually 3 Foods and 3 Drinks that you are asked to make for each level. I now make a 12/24 stack the first time a writ asks me for something and then I soon rarely every go to the cooking fire for my writs.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Yes. Same for me. Four recipes over 2 days as stated. Never need to head to the cooking fire. Although for me, its only 2 foods & 2 drinks. Currently buying recipes to try & rectify this.

My character is now a VET 3 rank! Max provisioning, yet I am still turning in my Provisioning Writs to Davon's Watch only receiving 1k XP.

This is the key point here.

I had everything maxed out in prov, the lot, but was continuously directed back to Coldharbour to turn the writs in and for the life of me I could not work it out.

I was V rank, Maxed skill points and was considered a 'master' in the craft.

Then one day BANG, Belkarth Quartermaster was the destination and I have been doing LVI since.

I suspect that the writ 'levels' you and you can only turn them in at Belkarth when you reach a certain writ level and I think that level is based not on XP but on the experience you get just for writs. That's what I suspect anyway, not sure how accurate that is but I certainly had the same 'issue'...
Looking for a good NA PS4 guild that offers a bit of everything? New to the game and lost? Need some guidance and help?
Look no further, Ebonheart Guild of Shadow has been here since launch and we got you!
PSN message Heathenpride for an invite.

SO, I went to the shrine, I paid the 3k, and I got all my skill points back. I re-added all them into Provisioning, and BOOM I was getting the correct Provisioning packs! So, there was obviously a glitch, as a lot of others are getting the same lower Provisioning Packs when they should be getting Pack 6...
