I would love to see different quivers being added to the bow line. It makes since and is part of other ESO games. it would help diversify builds and add an extra element of customization and intrigue to the bow line.

thoughts...?

Well "Bow man" each quiver is different depending on what style you used to make your bow with. Now if you suggesting we can swap out different quivers and mix and match the bows and quivers like we do with armor this could happen since we do get 2 weapon slots for main and off hand weapons and the quiver could take up the off hand slot but that would mean we have to craft a seperate quiver for it.

Yes. I want a bow in one hand and a quiver in the other. I would like to see different passives or effects from different types of quiver such as one that deals lighting damage or fire or whatever.

Quivers and Books could be like parts of really rare sets that just add some stats and a set bonus :no_mouth:

A quiver could add a different damage type without actually increasing or decreasing any base stats, thus requiring minial balancing and rebalancing. For example, rather than dealing normal damage, a different quiver could allow you to deal fire damage, and another one could allow you to deal poison, etc.

Truthfully, I just think it would be a cool idea regardless of how they implemented it.

I think the idea makes sense...in essence it would provide another item for set bonus BUT I do think the style should be tied to both.

So when crafting a bow, you're crafting a bow and a quiver
-Arguments = quivers aren't made of wood so you would change requirements to woodworking and leather-working/clothing which seems cumbersome but realistic.

Well, it is the way it already works when you craft a bow. When you equip it you get the same style quiver. Might as well keep them together. No other weapon would require cross crafting.. so that would be unfair to make it leather.

wouldn't that let a two handed weapon to be treated as duel welding stat wise? that wouldn't be balance.

I kind of like this idea. It would require rebalancing of the bow in order to work (if your quiver is another "weapon" then you'd need to change some of the bow stats to compensate, because you could have a trait on each and so on). This would require some serious thought in order to make sure it was properly balanced and implemented, but it would be a cool way to customize your archers.

Oh, and the quiver could still be done at the woodworking station, because it could be a "quiver and arrows" so it would be more about using the woodworking station as a fletcher making arrows than anything else.

I often thought of this idea, if only to remove the set bonus advantage 1h-shield and dual wield enjoy. Quivers for bows, different magical focuses or crystals for staves, jeweled hilts or inscribing for 2-h.

I think it's likely something they'll implement, but not anytime soon. As it stands, 1h-shield and dual wield aren't particularly overpowered compared to other weapon types, so I doubt they'd invest the time building a system to fix a problem that isn't really a problem...

Lots of possibilities for customization if they do eventually do it though :) extra crystals/quivers/hilts with traits to research, huzzah!
