Longer Lasting fights (in solo)

rowanwatkins3
This is one thing that I dislike about combat and that is the fact that fights are so short and either you or your enemy will end up dead. In boss fights players health decreases so rapidly along with the bosses health making it difficult to heal anyone because of the random bursts of damage insta-killing everyone. I really would love to see an increase in player and enemy health and resistances (by a large amount) to make fights a bit longer and making the player think more tactically.

Anyone else got ideas about combat and its length?

It's mostly the bosses for me. But you have to remember, at low levels it's a lot harder to maintain resources and you don't have access to heals (unless you're a templar). If regular enemies were any tougher and the fights longer, newbies would leave the game in frustration. ESO already has you managing extra resources you don't even have to think about in other games, like stamina. I totally agree that boss fights need to be more enjoyable though. It seems to be whoever gets the burst damage off first wins. If they are particularly tough (some enemies have had a spell that destroy me in a single cast), I will transform into WW and tear their face off in a few hits. Not a very rewarding fight. I'm left there standing at their body all like "ok then..".

So in conclusion; regular enemies should stay as they are, boss fights definitely need to be more about skill rather than burst damage.
